Psalms 30

I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

Ich will dich erheben, Jehova, denn du hast mich emporgezogen und hast nicht über mich sich freuen lassen meine Feinde.

O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

Jehova, mein Gott! zu dir habe ich geschrieen, und du hast mich geheilt.

O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

Jehova! du hast meine Seele aus dem Scheol heraufgeführt, hast mich belebt aus denen, die in die Grube hinabfahren.

Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Singet Psalmen Jehova, ihr seine Frommen, und preiset sein heiliges Gedächtnis!

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Denn ein Augenblick ist in seinem Zorn, ein Leben in seiner Gunst; am Abend kehrt Weinen ein, und am Morgen ist Jubel da.

And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

Ich zwar sagte in meinem Wohlergehen: Ich werde nicht wanken ewiglich.

LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.

Jehova! in deiner Gunst hattest du festgestellt meinen Berg; du verbargst dein Angesicht, ich ward bestürzt.

I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.

Zu dir, Jehova, rief ich, und zum Herrn flehte ich:

What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

Was für Gewinn ist in meinem Blute, in meinem Hinabfahren in die Grube? Wird der Staub dich preisen? Wird er deine Wahrheit verkünden?

Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.

Höre, Jehova, und sei mir gnädig! Jehova, sei mein Helfer!

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

Meine Wehklage hast du mir in einen Reigen verwandelt, mein Sacktuch hast du gelöst, und mit Freude mich umgürtet;

To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

auf daß meine Seele dich besinge und nicht schweige. Jehova, mein Gott, in Ewigkeit werde ich dich preisen!
