Psalms 96

O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.

برای خداوند سرودی تازه بسرایید، تمام مردم جهان برای خداوند سرود بخوانند.

Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

برای خداوند سرود بخوانید و او را پرستش نمایید، کارهای نیکوی او را هر روز اعلام نمایید و بگویید که او ما را نجات داده است.

Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

جلال و شکوه او را به همهٔ اقوام جهان بیان کنید و کارهای شگفت‌انگیز او را به همهٔ مردم بگویید.

For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

خداوند بزرگ و سزاوار پرستش است، همه باید او را با شایستگی کامل پرستش کنند، او برتر از تمام خدایان است.

For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

خدایان اقوام دیگر فقط بُت هستند، امّا خداوند، آفرینندهٔ آسمانهاست.

Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

شکوه و جلال از آن او و قدرت و جمال در معبد بزرگ اوست.

Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

ای اقوام روی زمین، خداوند را ستایش کنید و جلال و قدرت او را بستایید.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

نام پُر شکوه او را ستایش نمایید، با هدایای خود به معبد بزرگ او بیایید.

O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

ای تمامی مردم زمین، خداوند را در لباس پرهیزکاری بپرستید و با لرز در حضور او سجده کنید.

Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

به همهٔ اقوام جهان بگویید: «خداوند پادشاه است. زمین محکم و استوار است و تکان نخواهد خورد. او مردم را از روی انصاف داوری خواهد کرد.»

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.

آسمان و زمین شادی کنند. دریا و هرچه در آن است به خروش آید.

Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

کشتزارها و هرچه در آنهاست شادمان گردند و درختان جنگل از خوشی فریاد زنند،

Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

وقتی‌که خداوند برای داوری می‌آید. خداوند مردم را با عدالت و انصاف داوری خواهد نمود.
