Acts 1

The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

до деня, когато се възнесе, след като даде чрез Светия Дух заповеди на апостолите, които беше избрал,

To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

на които и представи Себе Си жив след страданието Си с много верни доказателства, като им се явяваше в продължение на четиридесет дни и говореше за Божието царство.

And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

И като се събираше с тях, им поръча да не напускат Ерусалим, а да чакат обещанието от Отца, за което, каза Той, чухте от Мен.

For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

Защото Йоан кръщаваше с вода, а вие ще бъдете кръстени със Свети Дух не след много дни.

When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

И така, като се събраха, те Го попитаха, като казаха: Господи, в това ли време ще възстановиш на Израил царството?

And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

Той им каза: Не е за вас да знаете години или времена, които Отец е положил в Собствената Си власт.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Но ще приемете сила, когато дойде върху вас Светият Дух, и ще бъдете свидетели за Мен както в Ерусалим, така и в цяла Юдея и Самария, и до края на земята.

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

И като изрече това, докато те гледаха, Той се възнесе и облак Го прие от погледа им.

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

И докато се взираха към небето, когато възлизаше, ето, двама мъже в бели дрехи застанаха при тях,

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

които и казаха: Галилеяни, защо стоите и гледате към небето? Този Иисус, който се възнесе от вас на небето, ще дойде така, както Го видяхте да отива на небето.

Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

Тогава те се върнаха в Ерусалим от хълма, наречен Елеонски, който е близо до Ерусалим, на разстояние един съботен ден път.

And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

И когато влязоха в града, се качиха в горната стая, където пребиваваха – Петър и Йоан, Яков и Андрей, Филип и Тома, Вартоломей и Матей, Яков Алфеев и Симон Зилот, и Юда Яковов.

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

Всички тези единодушно бяха в постоянна молитва (и моление) с някои жени и Мария, майката на Иисус, и с братята Му.

And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

През тези дни Петър стана сред учениците, а имаше събрано множество около сто и двадесет души, и каза:

Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

Братя, трябваше да се изпълни написаното, което Светият Дух предсказа чрез устата на Давид за Юда, който стана водител на тези, които хванаха Иисус.

For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.

Защото той се числеше към нас и получи дял в това служение.

Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

Той придоби нива със заплатата на своята неправда и като падна презглава, се пукна през средата и всичките му черва изтекоха.

And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.

И това стана известно на всичките ерусалимски жители, така че тази нива се нарича на техен език Акелдама, тоест Кръвна нива.

For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.

Защото е писано в книгата на Псалмите: ?Жилището му да запустее и да няма кой да живее в него“; и: ?Друг нека вземе чина му.“

Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

И така, от тези мъже, които вървяха с нас през цялото време, когато Господ Иисус влизаше и излизаше между нас –

Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.

като се започне от Йоановото кръщение до деня, когато се възнесе от нас – един от тях трябва да стане свидетел с нас на възкресението Му.

And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.

И така, поставиха на средата двама – Йосиф, наречен Варсава, който се наричаше и Юст, и Матия.

And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,

И се помолиха, казвайки: Ти, Господи, който познаваш сърцата на всички, покажи кого от тези двама си избрал

That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.

да вземе дела на това служение и апостолство, от което отстъпи Юда, за да отиде на своето си място.

And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

И хвърлиха жребий за тях и жребият падна на Матия, и той се причисли към единадесетте апостоли.
