II Kings 25

And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he, and all his host, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it; and they built forts against it round about.

И в деветата година на царуването му, в десетия месец, на десетия ден от месеца, вавилонският цар Навуходоносор дойде, той и цялата му войска, против Ерусалим и разположи стана си против него; и издигнаха укрепления наоколо против него.

And the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.

И градът беше под обсада до единадесетата година на цар Седекия.

And on the ninth day of the fourth month the famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land.

А на деветия ден от четвъртия месец гладът стана много голям в града и нямаше хляб за народа на страната.

And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between two walls, which is by the king's garden: (now the Chaldees were against the city round about:) and the king went the way toward the plain.

И портата на града беше разбита и всичките военни мъже побягнаха през нощта по пътя на портата, която е между двете стени, при царската градина — а халдейците бяха около града — и царят отиде по пътя за равнината.

And the army of the Chaldees pursued after the king, and overtook him in the plains of Jericho: and all his army were scattered from him.

А войската на халдейците преследва царя и го настигнаха в равнините на Ерихон. И цялата му войска се разбяга от него.

So they took the king, and brought him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah; and they gave judgment upon him.

И хванаха царя и го заведоха при вавилонския цар в Ривла, и произнесоха присъда над него.

And they slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him with fetters of brass, and carried him to Babylon.

И посякоха синовете на Седекия пред очите му и избодоха очите на Седекия, и го оковаха в бронзови окови, и го отведоха във Вавилон.

And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which is the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzar–adan, captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem:

А в петия месец, на седмия ден от месеца, а годината беше деветнадесетата година на цар Навуходоносор, вавилонския цар, началникът на телохранителите Навузардан, служител на вавилонския цар, дойде в Ерусалим.

And he burnt the house of the LORD, and the king's house, and all the houses of Jerusalem, and every great man's house burnt he with fire.

И той изгори ГОСПОДНИЯ дом и царската къща, и всичките къщи в Ерусалим; всяка голяма къща изгори с огън.

And all the army of the Chaldees, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down the walls of Jerusalem round about.

И цялата халдейска войска, която беше с началника на телохранителите, събори стените около Ерусалим.

Now the rest of the people that were left in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to the king of Babylon, with the remnant of the multitude, did Nebuzar–adan the captain of the guard carry away.

И началникът на телохранителите Навузардан отведе в плен остатъка от народа, който беше останал в града, и бежанците, които бяха прибягнали при вавилонския цар, и остатъка от множеството.

But the captain of the guard left of the poor of the land to be vinedressers and husbandmen.

И началникът на телохранителите остави някои от сиромасите на земята за лозари и земеделци.

And the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brasen sea that was in the house of the LORD, did the Chaldees break in pieces, and carried the brass of them to Babylon.

А бронзовите стълбове, които бяха в ГОСПОДНИЯ дом, и стойките, и бронзовото море, които бяха в ГОСПОДНИЯ дом, халдейците строшиха и пренесоха бронза им във Вавилон.

And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.

Взеха и котлите, и лопатите, и щипците, и тамянниците, и всичките бронзови принадлежности, с които се извършваше службата.

And the firepans, and the bowls, and such things as were of gold, in gold, and of silver, in silver, the captain of the guard took away.

Началникът на телохранителите взе и кадилниците и легените, каквото беше от злато, като злато и каквото беше от сребро, като сребро.

The two pillars, one sea, and the bases which Solomon had made for the house of the LORD; the brass of all these vessels was without weight.

А двата стълба, едното море и стойките, които Соломон беше направил за ГОСПОДНИЯ дом, бронзът на всички тези неща не можеше да се претегли.

The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and the chapiter upon it was brass: and the height of the chapiter three cubits; and the wreathen work, and pomegranates upon the chapiter round about, all of brass: and like unto these had the second pillar with wreathen work.

Височината на единия стълб беше осемнадесет лакътя и върху него имаше бронзов капител, а височината на капитела беше три лакътя. А наоколо върху капитела имаше плетени мрежи и нарове, всичките бронзови. Също такъв беше и вторият стълб с плетените мрежи.

And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:

Началникът на телохранителите взе и първосвещеника Сарая и втория свещеник Софония, и тримата вратари,

And out of the city he took an officer that was set over the men of war, and five men of them that were in the king's presence, which were found in the city, and the principal scribe of the host, which mustered the people of the land, and threescore men of the people of the land that were found in the city:

и от града взе един скопец, който беше надзирател на военните мъже, и петима мъже от тези, които бяха постоянно при царя, които се намериха в града, и писаря на военачалника, който събираше народа на земята за войската, и шестдесет мъже от народа на земята, които се намериха в града.

And Nebuzar–adan captain of the guard took these, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah:

И началникът на телохранителите Навузардан ги взе и ги заведе при вавилонския цар в Ривла.

And the king of Babylon smote them, and slew them at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away out of their land.

И вавилонският цар ги удари и ги уби в Ривла, в земята Емат. Така Юда беше отведен в плен от земята си.

And as for the people that remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, ruler.

А колкото за народа, който остана в юдовата земя, който вавилонският цар Навуходоносор беше оставил, над него той постави за управител Годолия, сина на Ахикам, син на Сафан.

And when all the captains of the armies, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, there came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Careah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men.

А когато всичките военачалници, те и мъжете им, чуха, че вавилонският цар поставил за управител Годолия, дойдоха при Годолия в Масфа; а именно: Исмаил, синът на Натания, и Йоанан, синът на Кария, и Сарая, синът на нетофатеца Танумет, и Яазания, синът на един маахатец, те и мъжете им.

And Gedaliah sware to them, and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not to be the servants of the Chaldees: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon; and it shall be well with you.

И Годолия се закле на тях и на мъжете им и им каза: Не се страхувайте да бъдете слуги на халдейците! Заселете се в земята и работете на вавилонския цар, и ще ви бъде добре.

But it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, came, and ten men with him, and smote Gedaliah, that he died, and the Jews and the Chaldees that were with him at Mizpah.

Но в седмия месец Исмаил, синът на Натания, син на Елисам, от царския род, дойде заедно с десет мъже и убиха Годолия, и той умря, както и юдеите и халдейците, които бяха с него в Масфа.

And all the people, both small and great, and the captains of the armies, arose, and came to Egypt: for they were afraid of the Chaldees.

Тогава целият народ, от малък до голям, и военачалниците станаха и отидоха в Египет, защото се уплашиха от халдейците.

And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evil–merodach king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;

А в тридесет и седмата година от пленяването на юдовия цар Йоахин, в дванадесетия месец, на двадесет и седмия ден от месеца, вавилонският цар Евил-Меродах издигна главата на юдовия цар Йоахин в годината на възцаряването си и го изведе от тъмницата.

And he spake kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon;

И му говори любезно и постави неговия престол над престола на царете, които бяха с него във Вавилон.

And changed his prison garments: and he did eat bread continually before him all the days of his life.

И той смени затворническите си дрехи и се хранеше винаги пред него през всичките дни на живота си.

And his allowance was a continual allowance given him of the king, a daily rate for every day, all the days of his life.

А колкото за храната му, от царя му се даваше постоянна храна, ежедневен дял, през всичките дни на живота му.
