II Kings 24

In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.

В неговите дни се изкачи вавилонският цар Навуходоносор и Йоаким му стана слуга за три години. После се отметна и въстана против него.

And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servants the prophets.

И ГОСПОД прати против него халдейски чети, арамейски чети, моавски чети и чети на синовете на Амон. Изпрати ги против Юда, за да го унищожат според словото на ГОСПОДА, което Той беше говорил чрез слугите Си, пророците.

Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;

Наистина по заповед от ГОСПОДА стана това на Юда, за да го отхвърли отпред Себе Си заради греховете на Манасия, според всичко, което беше извършил,

And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon.

и заради невинната кръв, която беше пролял, като напълни Ерусалим с невинна кръв. И ГОСПОД не пожела да прости.

Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

А останалите дела на Йоаким и всичко, което извърши, не са ли записани в Книгата на летописите на юдовите царе?

So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.

И Йоаким легна при бащите си. А вместо него се възцари синът му Йоахин.

And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt.

А египетският цар не излезе вече от земята си, защото вавилонският цар беше превзел всичко, което беше на египетския цар, от египетската река до реката Ефрат.

Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother's name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.

Йоахин беше на осемнадесет години, когато се възцари, и царува три месеца в Ерусалим. Името на майка му беше Неуста, дъщеря на Елнатан от Ерусалим.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father had done.

Той върши зло пред ГОСПОДА, според всичко, което беше вършил баща му.

At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.

В онова време слугите на вавилонския цар Навуходоносор се изкачиха против Ерусалим и градът беше обсаден.

And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came against the city, and his servants did besiege it.

И докато слугите му го обсаждаха, сам вавилонският цар Навуходоносор дойде срещу града.

And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.

И юдовият цар Йоахин излезе при вавилонския цар, той и майка му, и слугите му, и началниците му, и скопците му; и вавилонският цар го плени в осмата година на царуването си.

And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, as the LORD had said.

И той отнесе оттам всичките съкровища на ГОСПОДНИЯ дом и съкровищата на царската къща и съсече всичките златни вещи в ГОСПОДНИЯ дом, които израилевият цар Соломон беше направил, както ГОСПОД беше говорил.

And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.

И отведе в плен целия Ерусалим, всичките първенци и всичките храбри мъже, десет хиляди пленници, и всичките занаятчии и ковачи; не остана нищо освен по-сиромашката част от народа на земята.

And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.

Той отведе в плен Йоахин във Вавилон и отведе като пленници от Ерусалим във Вавилон майката на царя, жените на царя, скопците му и силните на земята.

And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.

Всичките мъже, годни за война, седем хиляди души, и занаятчиите, и ковачите, хиляда души, и всичките храбри воини вавилонският цар отведе като пленници във Вавилон.

And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father's brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.

И вавилонският цар постави Матания, чичото на Йоахин, за цар вместо него, като промени името му на Седекия.

Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

Седекия беше на двадесет и една години, когато се възцари, и царува единадесет години в Ерусалим. Името на майка му беше Амитала, дъщеря на Еремия от Ливна.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.

Той върши зло пред ГОСПОДА според всичко, което беше вършил Йоаким.

For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

Защото поради гнева на ГОСПОДА стана това с Ерусалим и Юда, докато Той ги отхвърли отпред Себе Си. И Седекия въстана против вавилонския цар.
