Genesis 25

А Авраам взе и друга жена, на име Хетура.

Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.

Тя му роди Земран и Йоксан, Мадан и Мадиам, Есвок и Шуах.

And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.

А Йоксан роди Сава и Дедан. А синове на Дедан бяха Асурим и Латусим, и Лаомим.

And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.

А синовете на Мадиам: Гефа и Ефер, Енох, Авида и Елдага. Всички тези бяха синове на Хетура.

And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.

Но Авраам даде целия си имот на Исаак.

And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac.

А на синовете на наложниците си Авраам даде подаръци и докато беше още жив, ги изпрати към изток, в източната земя, далеч от сина си Исаак.

But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.

И ето броя на годините на живота на Авраам, колкото живя — сто седемдесет и пет години.

And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years.

И Авраам издъхна и умря в честита старост, стар и сит от дни; и се прибра при народа си.

Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.

А синовете му Исаак и Исмаил го погребаха в пещерата Махпелах, в нивата на хетееца Ефрон, сина на Саар, която е срещу Мамврий,

And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre;

нивата, която Авраам купи от хетейските синове. Там беше погребан Авраам, също и жена му Сара.

The field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.

А след смъртта на Авраам, Бог благослови сина му Исаак; а Исаак живееше при Вир-Лахай-Рои.

And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahai–roi.

Ето родословието на Исмаил, сина на Авраам, когото египтянката Агар, слугинята на Сара, роди на Авраам,

Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham:

и ето имената на синовете на Исмаил, имената им според родовете им: първородният на Исмаил: Наваиот, после Кидар и Адвеил, и Мавсам,

And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

и Масма, и Дума, и Маса,

And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,

Адад и Тема, Етур, Нафис и Кедма.

Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:

Тези са синовете на Исмаил, тези са имената им според колибите им и според оградените им села: дванадесет племеначалници според племената им.

These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.

И ето годините на живота на Исмаил: сто тридесет и седем години. И като издъхна, умря и се прибра при народа си.

And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.

А потомците му се населиха в земите от Евила до Сур, който е срещу Египет, като се отива към Асирия. Така Исмаил се засели пред лицето на всичките си братя.

And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren.

Ето родословието на Исаак, сина на Авраам: Авраам роди Исаак,

And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son: Abraham begat Isaac:

а Исаак беше на четиридесет години, когато си взе за жена Ревека, дъщеря на арамееца Ватуил от Падан-Арам и сестра на арамееца Лаван.

And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padan–aram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.

И Исаак се молеше на ГОСПОДА за жена си, защото беше бездетна; и ГОСПОД го послуша, и жена му Ревека забременя.

And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

А децата се блъскаха едно друго вътре в нея и тя каза: Ако е така, защо ми е това? И отиде да се допита до ГОСПОДА.

And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.

А ГОСПОД й каза: Два народа са в утробата ти, и две племена ще се разделят от корема ти. Едното племе ще бъде по-силно от другото и по-големият ще слугува на по-малкия.

And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

И когато се изпълни времето й да роди, ето, близнаци имаше в утробата й.

And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.

Първият излезе червен, цял космат, като кожена дреха, и го нарекоха Исав.

And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.

После излезе брат му, като държеше с ръката си петата на Исав; затова се нарече Яков. А Исаак беше на шестдесет години, когато се родиха.

And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.

И като пораснаха децата, Исав стана изкусен ловец, полски човек, а Яков беше кротък човек и живееше в шатрите.

And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.

Исаак обичаше Исав, защото ядеше от лова му, а Ревека обичаше Яков.

And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.

Един ден Яков си вареше вариво, а Исав дойде от полето изнемощял.

And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:

И Исав каза на Яков: Я ми дай да ям от червеното, това червено вариво, защото съм изнемощял! Затова той се нарече Едом.

And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.

И Яков каза: Първо ми продай първородството си!

And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.

А Исав каза: Ето аз съм на умиране, за какво ми е това първородство?

And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?

И Яков каза: Най-напред ми се закълни! И той му се закле, и продаде първородството си на Яков.

And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.

Тогава Яков даде на Исав хляб и вариво от леща, и той яде и пи, и стана и си отиде. Така Исав презря първородството.

Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
