Acts 20

След утихването на размирицата Павел повика учениците и като им даде наставления, се прости с тях и тръгна да отиде в Македония.

And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto him the disciples, and embraced them, and departed for to go into Macedonia.

И като мина през онези места и насърчи учениците с много думи, дойде в Гърция

And when he had gone over those parts, and had given them much exhortation, he came into Greece,

и престоя три месеца. И понеже юдеите направиха заговор против него, когато се готвеше да отплава за Сирия, той реши да се върне през Македония.

And there abode three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed to return through Macedonia.

И до Азия го придружаваха берянинът Сосипатър Пиров и от солунците Аристарх и Секунд, и още Гай от Дервия и Тимотей, и Тихик, и Трофим от Азия.

And there accompanied him into Asia Sopater of Berea; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus; and of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.

Тези бяха отишли по-напред и ни чакаха в Троада.

These going before tarried for us at Troas.

А ние отплавахме от Филипи след дните на безквасните хлябове и за пет дни дойдохме при тях в Троада, където престояхме седем дни.

And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.

И в първия ден на седмицата, когато бяхме събрани за разчупването на хляба, Павел беседваше с тях, тъй като щеше да отпътува на следващия ден, и продължи словото си до среднощ.

And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

И имаше много светилници в горната стая, където бяхме събрани.

And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.

А един младеж на име Евтих, който седеше на един прозорец, беше заспал дълбоко. И когато Павел беседваше още по-надълго, сънят го обори, той падна долу от третия етаж и го вдигнаха мъртъв.

And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

Но Павел слезе, падна върху него, прегърна го и каза: Не се безпокойте, защото животът му е в него.

And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.

И като се качи горе, разчупи хляба и яде, и говори пак надълго до зори, и след това тръгна.

When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.

А момчето доведоха живо и много се утешиха.

And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.

А ние тръгнахме по-напред с кораба и отплавахме за Асон, откъдето щяхме да приберем Павел, понеже така беше поръчал, като сам той възнамеряваше да отиде пеша.

And we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself to go afoot.

И когато се срещна с нас в Асон, ние го взехме и дойдохме в Митилин.

And when he met with us at Assos, we took him in, and came to Mitylene.

И като отплавахме оттам, на следващия ден дойдохме срещу Хиос, а на другия пристигнахме в Самос; и (като престояхме в Трогилия,) на следващия ден дойдохме в Милит.

And we sailed thence, and came the next day over against Chios; and the next day we arrived at Samos, and tarried at Trogyllium; and the next day we came to Miletus.

Защото Павел беше решил да отмине Ефес, за да не се бави в Азия, понеже бързаше, ако му беше възможно, да бъде в Ерусалим за деня на Петдесетницата.

For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.

А от Милит прати в Ефес да повикат старейшините на църквата.

And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.

И когато те дойдоха при него, им каза: Вие знаете по какъв начин, още от първия ден, когато стъпих в Азия, прекарах цялото време между вас,

And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,

като служех на Господа с пълно смирение, с много сълзи и изпитания, които ме сполетяха от заговорите на юдеите,

Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

как не пропуснах да ви изявя нищо от това, което е било полезно, и да ви поучавам и публично, и по къщите,

And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,

като проповядвах и на юдеи, и на гърци покаяние пред Бога и вяра в нашия Господ Иисус Христос.

Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

И сега, ето, аз отивам, заставен духом, в Ерусалим, без да зная какво ще ме сполети там,

And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:

освен че Светият Дух свидетелства във всеки град, казвайки, че ме очакват окови и скърби.

Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.

Но не ме е грижа за нищо, нито ми е скъп животът, стига само да завърша с радост пътя си и служението, което приех от Господ Иисус – да проповядвам благовестието на Божията благодат.

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

И сега, ето, аз зная, че всички вие, между които ходих и проповядвах Царството, няма да видите вече лицето ми.

And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

Затова аз ви свидетелствам в този ден, че съм чист от кръвта на всички;

Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

защото не се посвених да ви изявя цялата Божия воля.

For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

Внимавайте за себе си и за цялото стадо, над което Светият Дух ви е поставил надзорници, да пасете църквата на Бога, която Той придоби със Собствената Си кръв.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Аз зная, че след моето заминаване ще навлязат между вас свирепи вълци, които няма да жалят стадото;

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

също и от самите вас ще се издигнат хора, които ще говорят извратено, за да отвличат учениците след себе си.

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Затова бдете и помнете, че три години не престанах да поучавам всеки един със сълзи денем и нощем.

Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

А сега, братя, препоръчвам ви на Бога и на словото на Неговата благодат, което може да ви изгради и да ви даде наследство между всичките осветени.

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Не пожелах на никого среброто или златото, или облеклото.

I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.

Вие сами знаете, че тези мои ръце послужиха за моите нужди и за онези, които бяха с мен.

Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.

С всичко ви показах, че като се трудите така, трябва да подкрепяте слабите и да помните думите на Господ Иисус – как Той е казал: Даването е по-блажено от вземането.

I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Като изговори това, коленичи и се помоли с всички тях.

And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.

И всички плакаха много и паднаха на шията на Павел, и го целуваха,

And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul's neck, and kissed him,

наскърбени най-много за думите, които каза, че няма вече да видят лицето му. И го изпратиха до кораба.

Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
