Psalms 29

(Un psalm al lui David.) Fiii lui Dumnezeu, daţi Domnului, daţi Domnului slavă şi cinste.

Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Daţi Domnului slava cuvenită Numelui Lui! Închinaţi-vă înaintea Domnului îmbrăcaţi cu podoabe sfinte!

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Glasul Domnului răsună pe ape, Dumnezeul slavei face să bubue tunetul: Domnul este pe ape mari.

The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

Glasul Domnului este puternic, glasul Domnului este măreţ.

The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

Glasul Domnului sfarmă cedrii; Domnul sfarmă cedrii Libanului;

The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

îi face să sară ca nişte viţei, şi Libanul şi Sirionul sar ca nişte pui de bivoli.

He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

Glasul Domnului face să ţîşnească flăcări de foc,

The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

glasul Domnului face să se cutremure pustia; Domnul face să tremure pustia Cades.

The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

Glasul Domnului face pe cerboaice să nască; El despoaie pădurile; în locaşul Lui totul strigă: ,,Slavă!``

The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

Domnul stătea pe scaunul Lui de domnie cînd cu potopul, şi Domnul împărăţeşte în veci pe scaunul Lui de domnie.

The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.

Domnul dă tărie poporului Său, Domnul binecuvintează pe poporul Său cu pace.

The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
