Ephesians 3

Por esta razão eu, Paulo, o prisioneiro de Cristo Jesus por amor de vós gentios...

For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

Se é que tendes ouvido a dispensação da graça de Deus, que para convosco me foi dada;

If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

como pela revelação me foi manifestado o mistério, conforme acima em poucas palavras vos escrevi,

How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

pelo que, quando ledes, podeis perceber a minha compreensão do mistério de Cristo,

Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

o qual em outras gerações não foi manifestado aos filhos dos homens, como se revelou agora aos seus santos apóstolos e profetas pelo Espírito,

Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

a saber, que os gentios são co-herdeiros e membros do mesmo corpo e participantes de sua promessa em Cristo por meio do evangelho;

That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

do qual fui feito ministro, segundo o dom da graça de Deus, que me foi dada conforme a operação do seu poder.

Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

A mim, o mínimo de todos os santos, me foi dada esta graça de anunciar aos gentios as riquezas inescrutáveis de Cristo,

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

e demonstrar a todos qual seja a dispensação do mistério que, desde o princípio do mundo, esteve oculto em Deus, que criou todas as coisas por meio de Jesus Cristo,

And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

para que agora seja manifestada, pela igreja, aos principados e potestades nas regiões celestes, a multiforme sabedoria de Deus,

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

segundo o eterno propósito que propôs em Cristo Jesus nosso Senhor,

According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

no qual temos ousadia e acesso em confiança, pela fé dele.

In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Portanto vos peço que não desfaleçais diante das minhas tribulações por vós, as quais são a vossa glória.

Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

Por esta razão dobro os meus joelhos perante o Pai de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo,

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

por quem toda família nos céus e na terra se nomeia,

Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

para que, segundo as riquezas da sua glória, vos conceda que sejais fortalecidos com poder pelo seu Espírito no homem interior;

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

que Cristo habite pela fé nos vossos corações, a fim de que, estando arraigados e fundados em amor,

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

possais compreender, com todos os santos, qual seja a largura, e o comprimento, e a altura, e a profundidade,

May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

e conhecer o amor de Cristo, que excede todo o entendimento, para que sejais cheios de toda a plenitude de Deus.

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Ora, àquele que é poderoso para fazer tudo muito mais abundantemente além daquilo que pedimos ou pensamos, segundo o poder que em nós opera,

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

a esse seja glória na igreja por Cristo Jesus, por todas as gerações, para todo o sempre. Amém.

Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
