Psalms 32

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

داؤد کا زبور۔ حکمت کا گیت۔ مبارک ہے وہ جس کے جرائم معاف کئے گئے، جس کے گناہ ڈھانپے گئے ہیں۔

Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

مبارک ہے وہ جس کا گناہ رب حساب میں نہیں لائے گا اور جس کی روح میں فریب نہیں ہے۔

When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

جب مَیں چپ رہا تو دن بھر آہیں بھرنے سے میری ہڈیاں گلنے لگیں۔

For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

کیونکہ دن رات مَیں تیرے ہاتھ کے بوجھ تلے پِستا رہا، میری طاقت گویا موسمِ گرما کی جُھلستی تپش میں جاتی رہی۔ (سِلاہ)

I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

تب مَیں نے تیرے سامنے اپنا گناہ تسلیم کیا، مَیں اپنا گناہ چھپانے سے باز آیا۔ مَیں بولا، ”مَیں رب کے سامنے اپنے جرائم کا اقرار کروں گا۔“ تب تُو نے میرے گناہ کو معاف کر دیا۔ (سِلاہ)

For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

اِس لئے تمام ایمان دار اُس وقت تجھ سے دعا کریں جب تُو مل سکتا ہے۔ یقیناً جب بڑا سیلاب آئے تو اُن تک نہیں پہنچے گا۔

Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

تُو میری چھپنے کی جگہ ہے، تُو مجھے پریشانی سے محفوظ رکھتا، مجھے نجات کے نغموں سے گھیر لیتا ہے۔ (سِلاہ)

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

”مَیں تجھے تعلیم دوں گا، تجھے وہ راہ دکھاؤں گا جس پر تجھے جانا ہے۔ مَیں تجھے مشورہ دے کر تیری دیکھ بھال کروں گا۔

Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

ناسمجھ گھوڑے یا خچر کی مانند نہ ہو، جن پر قابو پانے کے لئے لگام اور دہانے کی ضرورت ہے، ورنہ وہ تیرے پاس نہیں آئیں گے۔“

Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

بےدین کی متعدد پریشانیاں ہوتی ہیں، لیکن جو رب پر بھروسا رکھے اُسے وہ اپنی شفقت سے گھیرے رکھتا ہے۔

Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

اے راست بازو، رب کی خوشی میں جشن مناؤ! اے تمام دیانت دارو، شادمانی کے نعرے لگاؤ!
