Ezekiel 40

In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me thither.

ہماری جلاوطنی کے 25ویں سال میں رب کا ہاتھ مجھ پر آ ٹھہرا اور وہ مجھے یروشلم لے گیا۔ مہینے کا دسواں دن تھا۔ اُس وقت یروشلم کو دشمن کے قبضے میں آئے 14 سال ہو گئے تھے۔

In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south.

الٰہی رویاؤں میں اللہ نے مجھے ملکِ اسرائیل کے ایک نہایت بلند پہاڑ پر پہنچایا۔ پہاڑ کے جنوب میں مجھے ایک شہر سا نظر آیا۔

And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.

اللہ مجھے شہر کے قریب لے گیا تو مَیں نے شہر کے دروازے میں کھڑے ایک آدمی کو دیکھا جو پیتل کا بنا ہوا لگ رہا تھا۔ اُس کے ہاتھ میں کتان کی رسّی اور فیتہ تھا۔

And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.

اُس نے مجھ سے کہا، ”اے آدم زاد، دھیان سے دیکھ، غور سے سن! جو کچھ بھی مَیں تجھے دکھاؤں گا، اُس پر توجہ دے۔ کیونکہ تجھے اِسی لئے یہاں لایا گیا ہے کہ مَیں تجھے یہ دکھاؤں۔ جو کچھ بھی تُو دیکھے اُسے اسرائیلی قوم کو سنا دے!“

And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.

مَیں نے دیکھا کہ رب کے گھر کا صحن چاردیواری سے گھرا ہوا ہے۔ جو فیتہ میرے راہنما کے ہاتھ میں تھا اُس کی لمبائی ساڑھے 10 فٹ تھی۔ اِس کے ذریعے اُس نے چاردیواری کو ناپ لیا۔ دیوار کی موٹائی اور لمبائی دونوں ساڑھے دس دس فٹ تھی۔

Then came he unto the gate which looketh toward the east, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad; and the other threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad.

پھر میرا راہنما مشرقی دروازے کے پاس پہنچانے والی سیڑھی پر چڑھ کر دروازے کی دہلیز پر رُک گیا۔ جب اُس نے اُس کی پیمائش کی تو اُس کی گہرائی ساڑھے 10 فٹ نکلی۔

And every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed broad; and between the little chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reed.

جب وہ دروازے میں کھڑا ہوا تو دائیں اور بائیں طرف پہرے داروں کے تین تین کمرے نظر آئے۔ ہر کمرے کی لمبائی اور چوڑائی ساڑھے دس دس فٹ تھی۔ کمروں کے درمیان کی دیوار پونے نو فٹ موٹی تھی۔ اِن کمروں کے بعد ایک اَور دہلیز تھی جو ساڑھے 10 فٹ گہری تھی۔ اُس پر سے گزر کر ہم دروازے سے ملحق ایک برآمدے میں آئے جس کا رُخ رب کے گھر کی طرف تھا۔

He measured also the porch of the gate within, one reed.

میرے راہنما نے برآمدے کی پیمائش کی

Then measured he the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and the posts thereof, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was inward.

تو پتا چلا کہ اُس کی لمبائی 14 فٹ ہے۔ دروازے کے ستون نما بازو ساڑھے 3 فٹ موٹے تھے۔ برآمدے کا رُخ رب کے گھر کی طرف تھا۔

And the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they three were of one measure: and the posts had one measure on this side and on that side.

پہرے داروں کے مذکورہ کمرے سب ایک جیسے بڑے تھے، اور اُن کے درمیان والی دیواریں سب ایک جیسی موٹی تھیں۔

And he measured the breadth of the entry of the gate, ten cubits; and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits.

اِس کے بعد اُس نے دروازے کی گزرگاہ کی چوڑائی ناپی۔ یہ مل ملا کر پونے 23 فٹ تھی، البتہ جب کواڑ کھلے تھے تو اُن کے درمیان کا فاصلہ ساڑھے 17 فٹ تھا۔

The space also before the little chambers was one cubit on this side, and the space was one cubit on that side: and the little chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.

پہرے داروں کے ہر کمرے کے سامنے ایک چھوٹی سی دیوار تھی جس کی اونچائی 21 انچ تھی جبکہ ہر کمرے کی لمبائی اور اونچائی ساڑھے دس دس فٹ تھی۔

He measured then the gate from the roof of one little chamber to the roof of another: the breadth was five and twenty cubits, door against door.

پھر میرے راہنما نے وہ فاصلہ ناپا جو اِن کمروں میں سے ایک کی پچھلی دیوار سے لے کر اُس کے مقابل کے کمرے کی پچھلی دیوار تک تھا۔ معلوم ہوا کہ پونے 44 فٹ ہے۔

He made also posts of threescore cubits, even unto the post of the court round about the gate.

صحن میں دروازے سے ملحق وہ برآمدہ تھا جس کا رُخ رب کے گھر کی طرف تھا۔ اُس کی چوڑائی 33 فٹ تھی۔

And from the face of the gate of the entrance unto the face of the porch of the inner gate were fifty cubits.

جو باہر سے دروازے میں داخل ہوتا تھا وہ ساڑھے 87 فٹ کے بعد ہی صحن میں پہنچتا تھا۔

And there were narrow windows to the little chambers, and to their posts within the gate round about, and likewise to the arches: and windows were round about inward: and upon each post were palm trees.

پہرے داروں کے تمام کمروں میں چھوٹی کھڑکیاں تھیں۔ کچھ بیرونی دیوار میں تھیں، کچھ کمروں کے درمیان کی دیواروں میں۔ دروازے کے ستون نما بازوؤں میں کھجور کے درخت منقّش تھے۔

Then brought he me into the outward court, and, lo, there were chambers, and a pavement made for the court round about: thirty chambers were upon the pavement.

پھر میرا راہنما دروازے میں سے گزر کر مجھے رب کے گھر کے بیرونی صحن میں لایا۔ چاردیواری کے ساتھ ساتھ 30 کمرے بنائے گئے تھے جن کے سامنے پتھر کا فرش تھا۔

And the pavement by the side of the gates over against the length of the gates was the lower pavement.

یہ فرش چاردیواری کے ساتھ ساتھ تھا۔ جہاں دروازوں کی گزرگاہیں تھیں وہاں فرش اُن کی دیواروں سے لگتا تھا۔ جتنا لمبا اِن گزرگاہوں کا وہ حصہ تھا جو صحن میں تھا اُتنا ہی چوڑا فرش بھی تھا۔ یہ فرش اندرونی صحن کی نسبت نیچا تھا۔

Then he measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate unto the forefront of the inner court without, an hundred cubits eastward and northward.

بیرونی اور اندرونی صحنوں کے درمیان بھی دروازہ تھا۔ یہ بیرونی دروازے کے مقابل تھا۔ جب میرے راہنما نے دونوں دروازوں کا درمیانی فاصلہ ناپا تو معلوم ہوا کہ 175 فٹ ہے۔

And the gate of the outward court that looked toward the north, he measured the length thereof, and the breadth thereof.

اِس کے بعد اُس نے چاردیواری کے شمالی دروازے کی پیمائش کی۔

And the little chambers thereof were three on this side and three on that side; and the posts thereof and the arches thereof were after the measure of the first gate: the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.

اِس دروازے میں بھی دائیں اور بائیں طرف تین تین کمرے تھے جو مشرقی دروازے کے کمروں جتنے بڑے تھے۔ اُس میں سے گزر کر ہم وہاں بھی دروازے سے ملحق برآمدے میں آئے جس کا رُخ رب کے گھر کی طرف تھا۔ اُس کی اور اُس کے ستون نما بازوؤں کی لمبائی اور چوڑائی اُتنی ہی تھی جتنی مشرقی دروازے کے برآمدے اور اُس کے ستون نما بازوؤں کی تھی۔ گزرگاہ کی پوری لمبائی ساڑھے 87 فٹ تھی۔ جب میرے راہنما نے وہ فاصلہ ناپا جو پہرے داروں کے کمروں میں سے ایک کی پچھلی دیوار سے لے کر اُس کے مقابل کے کمرے کی پچھلی دیوار تک تھا تو معلوم ہوا کہ پونے 44 فٹ ہے۔

And their windows, and their arches, and their palm trees, were after the measure of the gate that looketh toward the east; and they went up unto it by seven steps; and the arches thereof were before them.

دروازے سے ملحق برآمدہ، کھڑکیاں اور کندہ کئے گئے کھجور کے درخت اُسی طرح بنائے گئے تھے جس طرح مشرقی دروازے میں۔ باہر ایک سیڑھی دروازے تک پہنچاتی تھی جس کے سات قدمچے تھے۔ مشرقی دروازے کی طرح شمالی دروازے کے اندرونی سرے کے ساتھ ایک برآمدہ ملحق تھا جس سے ہو کر انسان صحن میں پہنچتا تھا۔

And the gate of the inner court was over against the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured from gate to gate an hundred cubits.

مشرقی دروازے کی طرح اِس دروازے کے مقابل بھی اندرونی صحن میں پہنچانے والا دروازہ تھا۔ دونوں دروازوں کا درمیانی فاصلہ 175 فٹ تھا۔

After that he brought me toward the south, and behold a gate toward the south: and he measured the posts thereof and the arches thereof according to these measures.

اِس کے بعد میرا راہنما مجھے باہر لے گیا۔ چلتے چلتے ہم جنوبی چاردیواری کے پاس پہنچے۔ وہاں بھی دروازہ نظر آیا۔ اُس میں سے گزر کر ہم وہاں بھی دروازے سے ملحق برآمدے میں آئے جس کا رُخ رب کے گھر کی طرف تھا۔ یہ برآمدہ دروازے کے ستون نما بازوؤں سمیت دیگر دروازوں کے برآمدے جتنا بڑا تھا۔

And there were windows in it and in the arches thereof round about, like those windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.

دروازے اور برآمدے کی کھڑکیاں بھی دیگر کھڑکیوں کی مانند تھیں۔ گزرگاہ کی پوری لمبائی ساڑھے 87 فٹ تھی۔ جب اُس نے وہ فاصلہ ناپا جو پہرے داروں کے کمروں میں سے ایک کی پچھلی دیوار سے لے کر اُس کے مقابل کے کمرے کی پچھلی دیوار تک تھا تو معلوم ہوا کہ پونے 44 فٹ ہے۔

And there were seven steps to go up to it, and the arches thereof were before them: and it had palm trees, one on this side, and another on that side, upon the posts thereof.

باہر ایک سیڑھی دروازے تک پہنچاتی تھی جس کے سات قدمچے تھے۔ دیگر دروازوں کی طرح جنوبی دروازے کے اندرونی سرے کے ساتھ برآمدہ ملحق تھا جس سے ہو کر انسان صحن میں پہنچتا تھا۔ برآمدے کے دونوں ستون نما بازوؤں پر کھجور کے درخت کندہ کئے گئے تھے۔

And there was a gate in the inner court toward the south: and he measured from gate to gate toward the south an hundred cubits.

اِس دروازے کے مقابل بھی اندرونی صحن میں پہنچانے والا دروازہ تھا۔ دونوں دروازوں کا درمیانی فاصلہ 175 فٹ تھا۔

And he brought me to the inner court by the south gate: and he measured the south gate according to these measures;

پھر میرا راہنما جنوبی دروازے میں سے گزر کر مجھے اندرونی صحن میں لایا۔ جب اُس نے وہاں کا دروازہ ناپا تو معلوم ہوا کہ وہ بیرونی دروازوں کی مانند ہے۔

And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, according to these measures: and there were windows in it and in the arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.

پہرے داروں کے کمرے، برآمدہ اور اُس کے ستون نما بازو سب پیمائش کے حساب سے دیگر دروازوں کی مانند تھے۔ اِس دروازے اور اِس کے ساتھ ملحق برآمدے میں بھی کھڑکیاں تھیں۔ گزرگاہ کی پوری لمبائی ساڑھے 87 فٹ تھی۔ جب میرے راہنما نے وہ فاصلہ ناپا جو پہرے داروں کے کمرے میں سے ایک کی پچھلی دیوار سے لے کر اُس کے مقابل کے کمرے کی پچھلی دیوار تک تھا تو معلوم ہوا کہ پونے 44 فٹ ہے۔

And the arches round about were five and twenty cubits long, and five cubits broad.

پہرے داروں کے کمرے، برآمدہ اور اُس کے ستون نما بازو سب پیمائش کے حساب سے دیگر دروازوں کی مانند تھے۔ اِس دروازے اور اِس کے ساتھ ملحق برآمدے میں بھی کھڑکیاں تھیں۔ گزرگاہ کی پوری لمبائی ساڑھے 87 فٹ تھی۔ جب میرے راہنما نے وہ فاصلہ ناپا جو پہرے داروں کے کمرے میں سے ایک کی پچھلی دیوار سے لے کر اُس کے مقابل کے کمرے کی پچھلی دیوار تک تھا تو معلوم ہوا کہ پونے 44 فٹ ہے۔

And the arches thereof were toward the utter court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof: and the going up to it had eight steps.

لیکن اُس کے برآمدے کا رُخ بیرونی صحن کی طرف تھا۔ اُس میں پہنچنے کے لئے ایک سیڑھی بنائی گئی تھی جس کے آٹھ قدمچے تھے۔ دروازے کے ستون نما بازوؤں پر کھجور کے درخت کندہ کئے گئے تھے۔

And he brought me into the inner court toward the east: and he measured the gate according to these measures.

اِس کے بعد میرا راہنما مجھے مشرقی دروازے سے ہو کر اندرونی صحن میں لایا۔ جب اُس نے یہ دروازہ ناپا تو معلوم ہوا کہ یہ بھی دیگر دروازوں جتنا بڑا ہے۔

And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, were according to these measures: and there were windows therein and in the arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.

پہرے داروں کے کمرے، دروازے کے ستون نما بازو اور برآمدہ پیمائش کے حساب سے دیگر دروازوں کی مانند تھے۔ یہاں بھی دروازے اور برآمدے میں کھڑکیاں لگی تھیں۔ گزرگاہ کی لمبائی ساڑھے 87 فٹ اور چوڑائی پونے 44 فٹ تھی۔

And the arches thereof were toward the outward court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going up to it had eight steps.

اِس دروازے کے برآمدے کا رُخ بھی بیرونی صحن کی طرف تھا۔ دروازے کے ستون نما بازوؤں پر کھجور کے درخت کندہ کئے گئے تھے۔ برآمدے میں پہنچنے کے لئے ایک سیڑھی بنائی گئی تھی جس کے آٹھ قدمچے تھے۔

And he brought me to the north gate, and measured it according to these measures;

پھر میرا راہنما مجھے شمالی دروازے کے پاس لایا۔ اُس کی پیمائش کرنے پر معلوم ہوا کہ یہ بھی دیگر دروازوں جتنا بڑا ہے۔

The little chambers thereof, the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, and the windows to it round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.

پہرے داروں کے کمرے، ستون نما بازو، برآمدہ اور دیواروں میں کھڑکیاں بھی دوسرے دروازوں کی مانند تھیں۔ گزرگاہ کی لمبائی ساڑھے 87 فٹ اور چوڑائی پونے 44 فٹ تھی۔

And the posts thereof were toward the utter court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going up to it had eight steps.

اُس کے برآمدے کا رُخ بھی بیرونی صحن کی طرف تھا۔ دروازے کے ستون نما بازوؤں پر کھجور کے درخت کندہ کئے گئے تھے۔ اُس میں پہنچنے کے لئے ایک سیڑھی بنائی گئی تھی جس کے آٹھ قدمچے تھے۔

And the chambers and the entries thereof were by the posts of the gates, where they washed the burnt offering.

اندرونی شمالی دروازے کے برآمدے میں دروازہ تھا جس میں سے گزر کر انسان اُس کمرے میں داخل ہوتا تھا جہاں اُن ذبح کئے ہوئے جانوروں کو دھویا جاتا تھا جنہیں بھسم کرنا ہوتا تھا۔

And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering.

برآمدے میں چار میزیں تھیں، کمرے کے دونوں طرف دو دو میزیں۔ اِن میزوں پر اُن جانوروں کو ذبح کیا جاتا تھا جو بھسم ہونے والی قربانیوں، گناہ کی قربانیوں اور قصور کی قربانیوں کے لئے مخصوص تھے۔

And at the side without, as one goeth up to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables.

اِس برآمدے سے باہر مزید چار ایسی میزیں تھیں، دو ایک طرف اور دو دوسری طرف۔

Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon they slew their sacrifices.

مل ملا کر آٹھ میزیں تھیں جن پر قربانیوں کے جانور ذبح کئے جاتے تھے۔ چار برآمدے کے اندر اور چار اُس سے باہر کے صحن میں تھیں۔

And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and an half long, and a cubit and an half broad, and one cubit high: whereupon also they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt offering and the sacrifice.

برآمدے کی چار میزیں تراشے ہوئے پتھر سے بنائی گئی تھیں۔ ہر ایک کی لمبائی اور چوڑائی ساڑھے 31 انچ اور اونچائی 21 انچ تھی۔ اُن پر وہ تمام آلات پڑے تھے جو جانوروں کو بھسم ہونے والی قربانی اور باقی قربانیوں کے لئے تیار کرنے کے لئے درکار تھے۔

And within were hooks, an hand broad, fastened round about: and upon the tables was the flesh of the offering.

جانوروں کا گوشت اِن میزوں پر رکھا جاتا تھا۔ ارد گرد کی دیواروں میں تین تین انچ لمبی ہکیں لگی تھیں۔

And without the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south: one at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north.

پھر ہم اندرونی صحن میں داخل ہوئے۔ وہاں شمالی دروازے کے ساتھ ایک کمرا ملحق تھا جو اندرونی صحن کی طرف کھلا تھا اور جس کا رُخ جنوب کی طرف تھا۔ جنوبی دروازے کے ساتھ بھی ایسا کمرا تھا۔ اُس کا رُخ شمال کی طرف تھا۔

And he said unto me, This chamber, whose prospect is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house.

میرے راہنما نے مجھ سے کہا، ”جس کمرے کا رُخ جنوب کی طرف ہے وہ اُن اماموں کے لئے ہے جو رب کے گھر کی دیکھ بھال کرتے ہیں،

And the chamber whose prospect is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come near to the LORD to minister unto him.

جبکہ جس کمرے کا رُخ شمال کی طرف ہے وہ اُن اماموں کے لئے ہے جو قربان گاہ کی دیکھ بھال کرتے ہیں۔ تمام امام صدوق کی اولاد ہیں۔ لاوی کے قبیلے میں سے صرف اُن ہی کو رب کے حضور آ کر اُس کی خدمت کرنے کی اجازت ہے۔“

So he measured the court, an hundred cubits long, and an hundred cubits broad, foursquare; and the altar that was before the house.

میرے راہنما نے اندرونی صحن کی پیمائش کی۔ اُس کی لمبائی اور چوڑائی 175 فٹ تھی۔ قربان گاہ اِس صحن میں رب کے گھر کے سامنے ہی تھی۔

And he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side: and the breadth of the gate was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.

پھر اُس نے مجھے رب کے گھر کے برآمدے میں لے جا کر دروازے کے ستون نما بازوؤں کی پیمائش کی۔ معلوم ہوا کہ یہ پونے 9 فٹ موٹے ہیں۔ دروازے کی چوڑائی ساڑھے 24 فٹ تھی جبکہ دائیں بائیں کی دیواروں کی لمبائی سوا پانچ پانچ فٹ تھی۔

The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits; and he brought me by the steps whereby they went up to it: and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and another on that side.

چنانچہ برآمدے کی پوری چوڑائی 35 اور لمبائی 21 فٹ تھی۔ اُس میں داخل ہونے کے لئے دس قدمچوں والی سیڑھی بنائی گئی تھی۔ دروازے کے دونوں ستون نما بازوؤں کے ساتھ ساتھ ایک ایک ستون کھڑا کیا گیا تھا۔
