II Thessalonians 3

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

بھائیو، ایک آخری بات، ہمارے لئے دعا کریں کہ خداوند کا پیغام جلدی سے پھیل جائے اور عزت پائے، بالکل اُسی طرح جس طرح آپ کے درمیان ہوا۔

And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

اِس کے لئے بھی دعا کریں کہ اللہ ہمیں غلط اور شریر لوگوں سے بچائے رکھے، کیونکہ سب تو ایمان نہیں رکھتے۔

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

لیکن خداوند وفادار ہے، اور وہی آپ کو مضبوط کر کے ابلیس سے محفوظ رکھے گا۔

And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

ہم خداوند میں آپ پر اعتماد رکھتے ہیں کہ آپ وہ کچھ کر رہے ہیں بلکہ کرتے رہیں گے جو ہم نے آپ کو کرنے کو کہا تھا۔

And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

خداوند آپ کے دلوں کو اللہ کی محبت اور مسیح کی ثابت قدمی کی طرف مائل کرتا رہے۔

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

بھائیو، اپنے خداوند عیسیٰ مسیح کے نام میں ہم آپ کو حکم دیتے ہیں کہ ہر اُس بھائی سے کنارہ کریں جو بےقاعدہ چلتا اور جو ہم سے پائی ہوئی روایت کے مطابق زندگی نہیں گزارتا۔

For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

آپ خود جانتے ہیں کہ آپ کو کس طرح ہمارے نمونے پر چلنا چاہئے۔ جب ہم آپ کے پاس تھے تو ہماری زندگی میں بےترتیبی نہیں پائی جاتی تھی۔

Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:

ہم نے کسی کا کھانا بھی پیسے دیئے بغیر نہ کھایا، بلکہ دن رات سخت محنت مشقت کرتے رہے تاکہ آپ میں سے کسی کے لئے بوجھ نہ بنیں۔

Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

بات یہ نہیں کہ ہمیں آپ سے معاوضہ ملنے کا حق نہیں تھا۔ نہیں، ہم نے ایسا کیا تاکہ ہم آپ کے لئے اچھا نمونہ بنیں اور آپ اِس نمونے پر چلیں۔

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

جب ہم ابھی آپ کے پاس تھے تو ہم نے آپ کو حکم دیا، ”جو کام نہیں کرنا چاہتا وہ کھانا بھی نہ کھائے۔“

For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

اب ہمیں یہ خبر ملی ہے کہ آپ میں سے بعض بےقاعدہ زندگی گزارتے ہیں۔ وہ کام نہیں کرتے بلکہ دوسروں کے کاموں میں خواہ مخواہ دخل دیتے ہیں۔

Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

خداوند عیسیٰ مسیح کے نام میں ہم ایسے لوگوں کو حکم دیتے اور سمجھاتے ہیں کہ آرام سے کام کر کے اپنی روزی کمائیں۔

But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

بھائیو، آپ بھلائی کرنے سے کبھی ہمت نہ ہاریں۔

And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

اگر کوئی اِس خط میں درج ہماری ہدایت پر عمل نہ کرے تو اُس سے تعلق نہ رکھنا تاکہ اُسے شرم آئے۔

Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

لیکن اُسے دشمن مت سمجھنا بلکہ اُسے بھائی جان کر سمجھانا۔

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

خداوند خود جو سلامتی کا سرچشمہ ہے آپ کو ہر وقت اور ہر طرح سے سلامتی بخشے۔ خداوند آپ سب کے ساتھ ہو۔

The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.

مَیں، پولس اپنے ہاتھ سے یہ لکھ رہا ہوں۔ میری طرف سے سلام۔ مَیں اِسی طریقے سے اپنے ہر خط پر دست خط کرتا اور اِسی طرح لکھتا ہوں۔

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. The second epistle to the Thessalonians was written from Athens.

ہمارے خداوند عیسیٰ مسیح کا فضل آپ سب کے ساتھ رہے۔
