Psalms 50

The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

Güçlü olan Tanrı, RAB konuşuyor; Güneşin doğduğu yerden battığı yere kadar Yeryüzünün tümüne sesleniyor.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.

Güzelliğin doruğu Siyon’dan Parıldıyor Tanrı.

Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

Tanrımız geliyor, sessiz kalmayacak, Önünde yanan ateş her şeyi kül ediyor, Çevresinde şiddetli bir fırtına esiyor.

He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

Halkını yargılamak için Yere göğe sesleniyor:

Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

“Toplayın önüme sadık kullarımı, Kurban keserek benimle antlaşma yapanları.”

And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.

Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.

“Ey halkım, dinle de konuşayım, Ey İsrail, sana karşı tanıklık edeyim: Ben Tanrı’yım, senin Tanrın’ım!

I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.

Kurbanlarından ötürü seni azarlamıyorum, Yakmalık sunuların sürekli önümde.

I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.

Ne evinden bir boğa, Ne de ağıllarından bir teke alacağım.

For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

Çünkü bütün orman yaratıkları, Dağlardaki bütün hayvanlar benimdir.

I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.

Dağlardaki bütün kuşları korurum, Kırlardaki bütün yabanıl hayvanlar benimdir.

If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

Acıksam sana söylemezdim, Çünkü bütün dünya ve içindekiler benimdir.

Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

Ben boğa eti yer miyim? Ya da keçi kanı içer miyim?

Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

Tanrı’ya şükran kurbanı sun, Yüceler Yücesi’ne adadığın adakları yerine getir.

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Sıkıntılı gününde seslen bana, Seni kurtarırım, sen de beni yüceltirsin.

But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

Ama Tanrı kötüye şöyle diyor: “Kurallarımı ezbere okumaya Ya da antlaşmamı ağzına almaya ne hakkın var?

Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

Çünkü yola getirilmekten nefret ediyor, Sözlerimi arkana atıyorsun.

When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.

Hırsız görünce onunla dost oluyor, Zina edenlere ortak oluyorsun.

Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.

Ağzını kötülük için kullanıyor, Dilini yalana koşuyorsun.

Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.

Oturup kardeşine karşı konuşur, Annenin oğluna kara çalarsın.

These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

Sen bunları yaptın, ben sustum, Beni kendin gibi sandın. Seni azarlıyorum, Suçlarını gözünün önüne seriyorum.

Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

“Dikkate alın bunu, ey Tanrı’yı unutan sizler! Yoksa parçalarım sizi, kurtaran olmaz.

Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

Kim şükran kurbanı sunarsa beni yüceltir; Yolunu düzeltene kurtarışımı göstereceğim.”
