Psalms 20

The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;

Sıkıntılı gününde RAB seni yanıtlasın, Yakup’un Tanrısı’nın adı seni korusun!

Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

Yardım göndersin sana kutsal yerden, Siyon’dan destek versin.

Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.

Bütün tahıl sunularını anımsasın, Yakmalık sunularını kabul etsin! Sela

Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.

Gönlünce versin sana, Bütün tasarılarını gerçekleştirsin!

We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

O zaman zaferini sevinç çığlıklarıyla kutlayacağız, Tanrımız’ın adıyla sancaklarımızı dikeceğiz. RAB senin bütün dileklerini yerine getirsin.

Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

Şimdi anladım ki, RAB meshettiği kralı kurtarıyor, Sağ elinin kurtarıcı gücüyle Kutsal göklerinden ona yanıt veriyor.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

Bazıları savaş arabalarına, Bazıları atlarına güvenir, Bizse Tanrımız RAB’bin adına güveniriz.

They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

Onlar çöküyor, düşüyorlar; Bizse kalkıyor, dimdik duruyoruz.

Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.

Ya RAB, kralı kurtar! Yanıtla bizi sana yakardığımız gün!
