Psalms 148

Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

RAB’be övgüler sunun! Göklerden RAB’be övgüler sunun, Yücelerde O’na övgüler sunun!

Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

Ey bütün melekleri, O’na övgüler sunun, Övgüler sunun O’na, ey bütün göksel orduları!

Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

Ey güneş, ay, O’na övgüler sunun, Övgüler sunun O’na, ey ışıldayan bütün yıldızlar!

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

Ey göklerin gökleri Ve göklerin üstündeki sular, O’na övgüler sunun!

Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

RAB’bin adına övgüler sunsunlar, Çünkü O buyruk verince, var oldular;

He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

Bozulmayacak bir kural koyarak, Onları sonsuza dek yerlerine oturttu.

Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

Yeryüzünden RAB’be övgüler sunun, Ey deniz canavarları, bütün enginler,

Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

Şimşek, dolu, kar, bulutlar, O’nun buyruğuna uyan fırtınalar,

Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

Dağlar, bütün tepeler, Meyve ağaçları, sedir ağaçları,

Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

Yabanıl ve evcil hayvanlar, Sürüngenler, uçan kuşlar,

Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

Yeryüzünün kralları, bütün halklar, Önderler, yeryüzünün bütün yöneticileri,

Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

Delikanlılar, genç kızlar, Yaşlılar, çocuklar!

Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

RAB’bin adına övgüler sunsunlar, Çünkü yalnız O’nun adı yücedir. O’nun yüceliği yerin göğün üstündedir.

He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.

RAB kendi halkını güçlü kıldı, Bütün sadık kullarına, Kendisine yakın olan halka, İsrailliler’e ün kazandırdı. RAB’be övgüler sunun!
