Psalms 45

My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

Al Músico principal: sobre Sosannim: para los hijos de Coré: Masquil: Canción de amores. REBOSA mi corazón palabra buena: Refiero yo al Rey mis obras: Mi lengua es pluma de escribiente muy ligero.

Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.

Haste hermoseado más que los hijos de los hombres; La gracia se derramó en tus labios: Por tanto Dios te ha bendecido para siempre.

Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.

Cíñete tu espada sobre el muslo, oh valiente, Con tu gloria y con tu majestad.

And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

Y en tu gloria sé prosperado: Cabalga sobre palabra de verdad, y de humildad, y de justicia; Y tu diestra te enseñará cosas terribles.

Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.

Tus saetas agudas Con que caerán pueblos debajo de ti, Penetrarán en el corazón de los enemigos del Rey.

Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.

Tu trono, oh Dios, eterno y para siempre: Vara de justicia la vara de tu reino.

Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Amaste la justicia y aborreciste la maldad: Por tanto te ungió Dios, el Dios tuyo, Con óleo de gozo sobre tus compañeros.

All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.

Mirra, áloe, y casia exhalan todos tus vestidos: En estancias de marfil te han recreado.

Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.

Hijas de reyes entre tus ilustres: Está la reina á tu diestra con oro de Ophir.

Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house;

Oye, hija, y mira, é inclina tu oído; Y olvida tu pueblo, y la casa de tu padre;

So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.

Y deseará el rey tu hermosura: É inclínate á él, porque él es tu Señor.

And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.

Y las hijas de Tiro vendrán con presente; Implorarán tu favor los ricos del pueblo.

The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

Toda ilustre es de dentro la hija del rey: De brocado de oro es su vestido.

She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.

Con vestidos bordados será llevada al rey; Vírgenes en pos de ella: Sus compañeras serán traídas á ti.

With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.

Serán traídas con alegría y gozo: Entrarán en el palacio del rey.

Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.

En lugar de tus padres serán tus hijos, Á quienes harás príncipes en toda la tierra.

I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.

Haré perpetua la memoria de tu nombre en todas las generaciones: Por lo cual te alabarán los pueblos eternamente y para siempre.
