Psalms 149

Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

Lăudaţi pe Domnul! Cîntaţi Domnului o cîntare nouă, cîntaţi laudele Lui în adunarea credincioşilor Lui!

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

Să se bucure Israel de Cel ce l -a făcut, să se veselească fiii Sionului de Împăratul lor!

Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

Să laude Numele Lui cu jocuri, să -L laude cu toba şi cu arfa!

For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

Căci Domnul are plăcere de poporul Său, şi slăveşte pe cei nenorociţi, mîntuindu -i.

Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

Să salte de bucurie credincioşii Lui îmbrăcaţi în slavă, să scoată strigăte de bucurie în aşternutul lor!

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

Laudele lui Dumnezeul să fie în gura lor, şi sabia cu două tăişuri în mîna lor,

To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

ca să facă răzbunare asupra neamurilor, şi să pedepsească popoarele;

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

să lege pe împăraţii lor cu lanţuri, şi pe mai marii lor cu obezi de fer,

To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

ca să aducă la îndeplinire împotriva lor judecata scrisă! Aceasta este o cinste pentru toţi credincioşii Lui. Lăudaţi pe Domnul!
