Ezekiel 21

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

И ГОСПОДНОТО слово беше към мен и каза:

Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,

Сине човешки, насочи лицето си към Ерусалим и говори против светилищата и пророкувай против израилевата земя.

And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

И кажи на израилевата земя: Така казва ГОСПОД: Ето, Аз съм против теб и ще изтегля меча Си от ножницата му, и ще отсека от теб праведен и безбожен.

Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:

Затова, понеже ще отсека от теб праведен и безбожен, затова мечът Ми ще излезе от ножницата си против всяка плът, от юг до север.

That all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more.

И всяка плът ще познае, че Аз, ГОСПОД, изтеглих меча Си от ножницата му и вече няма да се върне там.

Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes.

А ти, сине човешки, въздишай с тресящи се хълбоци и с горест въздишай пред тях.

And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.

И когато ти кажат: Защо въздишаш? — ти кажи: Заради известието, защото идва; всяко сърце ще се разтопи и всички ръце ще отслабнат, и всеки дух ще примре, и всички колена ще се разтекат като вода. Ето, идва и ще бъде, заявява Господ БОГ.

Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

И ГОСПОДНОТО слово беше към мен и каза:

Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:

Сине човешки, пророкувай, казвайки: Така казва Господ: Кажи: Меч, меч наострен и също излъскан!

It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son, as every tree.

За да извърши голямо клане е наострен, за да святка е излъскан. Да се радваме ли, че жезълът на моя син презира всяко дърво?

And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.

Даде се да се излъска, за да се държи в ръка. Наострен е мечът и е излъскан, за да се даде в ръката на убиеца.

Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh.

Викай и ридай, сине човешки, защото той е върху народа Ми, върху всичките израилеви първенци! Те ще бъдат предадени на меча заедно с народа Ми; затова се удряй по бедрата си!

Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD.

Защото е изпитание; и какво, ако жезълът, който презира, няма да го има, заявява Господ БОГ?

Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together, and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of the great men that are slain, which entereth into their privy chambers.

А ти, сине човешки, пророкувай и плесни с ръце. И ще се удвои мечът, ще се утрои, мечът на убитите е той, мечът на убития силен, който ви обикаля.

I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter.

За да се стопи всяко сърце и мнозина да паднат, насочих клането на меча срещу всичките им порти. Горко! За да бляска е направен, за клане е наострен.

Go thee one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set.

Стегни се, нападни надясно, насочи се наляво, накъдето е определено да се обърне лицето ти!

I will also smite mine hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the LORD have said it.

И Аз също ще плесна с ръце и ще удовлетворя яростта Си. Аз, ГОСПОД, изговорих това.

The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,

И ГОСПОДНОТО слово беше към мен и каза:

Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city.

А ти, сине човешки, си направи два пътя, по които да дойде мечът на вавилонския цар; и двата ще излизат от една земя. И направи пътепоказател, направи го при началото на пътя за града.

Appoint a way, that the sword may come to Rabbath of the Ammonites, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defenced.

Направи път, за да дойде мечът в Рава на синовете на Амон и в Юда, в укрепения Ерусалим.

For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver.

Защото вавилонският цар спря на кръстопътя, където започват двата пътя, за да му се гадае — разтърсва стрели, пита домашните идоли, разглежда черен дроб.

At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort.

В десницата му е гаданието за Ерусалим, да се поставят стеноломи, да се даде заповед за клане, да се издигне глас с боен вик, да се поставят стеноломи срещу портите, да се насипят насипи, да се построят обсадни кули.

And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.

Затова, така казва Господ БОГ: Понеже сами припомняте беззаконието си, като се откриват престъпленията ви, така че да се виждат греховете ви във всичките ви дела, понеже сами припомняте за себе си, ще бъдете стиснати в шепа.

And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end,

А ти, осквернен и безбожен княз на Израил, чийто ден дойде, когато беззаконието стигна до край,

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.

така казва Господ БОГ: Махни митрата и свали короната; това няма вече да бъде. Ниското ще се издигне, а високото ще се снижи.

I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.

Ще го преобърна, преобърна, преобърна; и това няма вече да бъде, докато дойде онзи, на когото принадлежи правосъдието; на него ще го дам.

And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering:

А ти, сине човешки, пророкувай и кажи: Така казва Господ БОГ за синовете на Амон и за техния присмех. Кажи: Меч, меч изтеглен за клане, излъскан, за да пояжда, за да блести —

Whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end.

докато те виждат за теб празно видение и докато ти гадаят лъжа, за да бъдеш опрян на шията на избитите безбожни, чийто ден дойде, когато беззаконието стигна до край.

Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity.

Да го върна ли в ножницата му? На мястото, където си бил създаден, в родната ти земя, ще те съдя.

And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy.

Ще излея върху теб негодуванието Си, с огъня на яростта Си ще духна върху теб и ще те предам в ръцете на свирепи хора, които са опитни да погубват.

Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.

Ще станеш гориво за огъня, кръвта ти ще бъде сред земята, няма вече да се помниш, защото Аз, ГОСПОД, изговорих това.
