II Chronicles 9

And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

И савската царица чу слуха за Соломон и дойде в Ерусалим, за да изпита Соломон със загадки. Дойде с много голяма свита с камили, които носеха аромати и злато в голямо количество, и скъпоценни камъни. И тя дойде при Соломон и говори с него за всичко, което имаше на сърце.

And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not.

И Соломон отговори на всичките й въпроси и нямаше нищо скрито за Соломон, което не й обясни.

And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,

И когато савската царица видя мъдростта на Соломон и дома, който беше построил,

And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.

и храната на трапезата му, и седенето на слугите му, и стоенето на служителите му, и облеклото им, и виночерпците му, и облеклото им, и изкачването, с което се изкачваше в ГОСПОДНИЯ дом, дъхът й секна.

And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom:

И тя каза на царя: Вярна беше думата, която чух в земята си, за делата ти и за мъдростта ти.

Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: for thou exceedest the fame that I heard.

Аз не вярвах на думите им, докато не дойдох и не видях с очите си; и ето, дори и половината от величието на мъдростта ти не ми е било казано. Ти надминаваш слуха, който бях чула.

Happy are thy men, and happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.

Блажени хората ти и блажени тези твои слуги, които стоят постоянно пред теб и слушат мъдростта ти!

Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.

Благословен ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, който благоволи в теб, да те постави на престола Си цар за ГОСПОДА, твоя Бог! Понеже твоят Бог е възлюбил Израил, за да го утвърди до века, затова те е направил цар над тях, за да вършиш правосъдие и правда.

And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones: neither was there any such spice as the queen of Sheba gave king Solomon.

И тя даде на царя сто и двадесет таланта злато и аромати в голямо количество и скъпоценни камъни. Никога вече не е имало такива аромати, като тези, които савската царица даде на Соломон.

And the servants also of Huram, and the servants of Solomon, which brought gold from Ophir, brought algum trees and precious stones.

А и слугите на Хирам и слугите на Соломон, които докарваха злато от Офир, докараха алмугово дърво и скъпоценни камъни.

And the king made of the algum trees terraces to the house of the LORD, and to the king's palace, and harps and psalteries for singers: and there were none such seen before in the land of Judah.

И царят направи от алмуговото дърво стълби за ГОСПОДНИЯ дом и за царската къща, а също и арфи и лири за певците. Такова дърво не се беше виждало преди в юдовата земя.

And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which she had brought unto the king. So she turned, and went away to her own land, she and her servants.

И цар Соломон даде на савската царица всичко, което тя пожела, за което помоли, освен равното на онова, което тя беше донесла на царя. И тя се обърна и отиде в земята си, тя и слугите й.

Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold;

А теглото на златото, което идваше при Соломон за една година, беше шестстотин шестдесет и шест таланта злато,

Beside that which chapmen and merchants brought. And all the kings of Arabia and governors of the country brought gold and silver to Solomon.

освен онова, което се внасяше от търговците, от прекупвачите; и всичките царе на Арабия и от управителите на страната донасяха на Соломон злато и сребро.

And king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of beaten gold went to one target.

И цар Соломон направи двеста щита от ковано злато — с шестстотин сикъла злато се покриваше всеки щит —

And three hundred shields made he of beaten gold: three hundred shekels of gold went to one shield. And the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.

и триста щитчета от ковано злато — с триста сикъла злато се покриваше всяко щитче. И царят ги постави в къщата "Ливанска гора".

Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.

И царят направи един голям престол от слонова кост и го обкова с чисто злато.

And there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays:

Престолът имаше шест стъпала и едно златно подножие, закрепени за престола; имаше и подлакътници от двете страни на мястото за сядане, и два лъва стояха до подлакътниците.

And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom.

И дванадесет лъва стояха там, на шестте стъпала, по един от всяка страна. Такова нещо не е било правено за никое друго царство.

And all the drinking vessels of king Solomon were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold: none were of silver; it was not any thing accounted of in the days of Solomon.

И всичките съдове за пиене на цар Соломон бяха от злато, и всичките съдове на къщата "Ливанска гора" бяха от чисто злато. Среброто се считаше за нищо в дните на Соломон.

For the king's ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram: every three years once came the ships of Tarshish bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.

Защото корабите на царя отиваха в Тарсис със слугите на Хирам; веднъж на три години тарсийските кораби идваха натоварени със злато и сребро, слонова кост и маймуни, и пауни.

And king Solomon passed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

И цар Соломон беше по-велик от всичките царе на света по богатство и мъдрост.

And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, that God had put in his heart.

И всичките царе на земята търсеха лицето на Соломон, за да чуят мъдростта му, която Бог беше вложил в сърцето му.

And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and raiment, harness, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.

И те донасяха всеки дара си: вещи от сребро и вещи от злато, и облекла, оръжия и аромати, коне и мулета. Така ставаше година след година.

And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.

И Соломон имаше четири хиляди конюшни и колесници и дванадесет хиляди конници, и ги настани в градовете за колесниците и при царя в Ерусалим.

And he reigned over all the kings from the river even unto the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.

И той владееше над всичките царе от реката Ефрат до земята на филистимците и до границата на Египет.

And the king made silver in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the low plains in abundance.

И царят направи среброто в Ерусалим като камъни и направи кедрите многобройни като черниците в низината.

And they brought unto Solomon horses out of Egypt, and out of all lands.

И от Египет и от всичките страни изнасяха коне за Соломон.

Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat?

А останалите дела на Соломон, първите и последните, не са ли записани в Книгата на пророк Натан и в пророчеството на силонеца Ахия, и във виденията на гледача Идо, които изрече за Еровоам, сина на Нават?

And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.

И Соломон царува четиридесет години в Ерусалим над целия Израил.

And Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.

И Соломон легна при бащите си и беше погребан в града на баща си Давид, и вместо него се възцари синът му Ровоам.
