Psalms 56

हे परमेश्वर, मुझ पर करूणा कर क्योंकि लोगों ने मुझ पर वार किया है। वे रात दिन मेरा पीछा कर रहे हैं, और मेरे साथ इगड़ा कर रहे हैं।

Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.

मेरे शत्रु सारे दिन मुझ पर वार करते रहे। वहाँ पर डटे हुए अनगिनत योद्धा हैं।

Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.

जब भी डरता हूँ, तो मैं तेरा ही भरोसा करता हूँ।

What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

मैं परमेश्वर के भरोसे हूँ, सो मैं भयभीत नहीं हूँ। लोग मुझको हानि नहीं पहुँचा सकते! मैं परमेश्वर के वचनों के लिए उसकी प्रशंसा करता हूँ जो उसने मुझे दिये।

In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

मेरे शत्रु सदा मेरे शब्दों को तोड़ते मरोड़ते रहते हैं। मेरे विरूद्ध वे सदा कुचक्र रचते रहते हैं।

Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

वे आपस में मिलकर और लुक छिपकर मेरी हर बात की टोह लेते हैं। मेरे प्राण हरने की कोई राह सोचते हैं।

They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.

हे परमेश्वर, उन्हें बचकर निकलने मत दे। उनके बुरे कामों का दण्ड उन्हें दे।

Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God.

तू यह जानता है कि मैं बहुत व्याकुल हूँ। तू यह जानता है कि मैंने तुझे कितना पुकारा है तूने निश्चय ही मेरे सब आँसुओं का लेखा जोखा रखा हुआ है।

Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

सो अब मैं तुझे सहायता पाने को पुकारुँगा। मेरे शत्रुओं को तू पराजित कर दे। मैं यह जानता हूँ कि तू यह कर सकता है। क्योंकि तू परमेश्वर है!

When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.

मैं परमेश्वर का गुण उसके वचनों के लिए गाता हूँ। मैं परमेश्वर के गुणों को उसके उस वचन के लिये गाता हूँ जो उसने मुझे दिया है।

In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.

मुझको परमेश्वर पर भरोसा है, इसलिए मैं नहीं डरता हूँ। लोग मेरा बुरा नहीं कर सकते!

In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

हे परमेश्वर, मैंने जो तेरी मन्नतें मानी है, मैं उनको पूरा करुँगा। मैं तुझको धन्यवाद की भेंट चढ़ाऊँगा।

Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.

क्योंकि तूने मुझको मृत्यु से बचाया है। तूने मुझको हार से बचाया है। सो मैं परमेश्वर की आराधना करूँगा, जिसे केवल जीवित व्यक्ति देख सकते हैं।

For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?
