Psalms 62

جان من فقط در حضور خدا آرام می‌شود، زیرا نجات من از جانب اوست.

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.

او یگانه پشتیبان و نجات‌دهندهٔ من است، او نگه‌دار من است پس هرگز شکست نخواهم خورد.

He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

تا به کی همگی شما بر مردی هجوم می‌آورید که مانند دیوار شکسته است؟

How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.

فکر شما فقط این است که او را از مقامش پایین بیاورید. شما دروغ را دوست می‌دارید، با زبان خود او را برکت می‌دهید، امّا در دلتان او را نفرین می‌کنید.

They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

من فقط به خدا اعتماد دارم و امیدم به اوست.

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

او یگانه پشتیبان و نجات‌دهندهٔ من است، او نگه‌دار من است، پس هرگز شکست نخواهم خورد.

He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

نجات و عزّت من از خداست. او نگهبان توانا و پناهگاه من است.

In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

ای مردم در همهٔ اوقات به خدا توکّل کنید. همهٔ مشکلات خود را به او بگویید، زیرا او پناهگاه ماست.

Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

تمام مردم چه کوچک و چه بزرگ، ناچیزند و بیش از یک نفس نیستند. اگر در ترازو وزن شوند، از باد هم سبکترند.

Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.

بر ظلم توکّل نكنید و بر آنچه که از راه دزدی به دست آورده‌اید، امید نداشته باشید؛ و هرچند دارا‌یی شما زیاد شود بر آن دل نبندید.

Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.

خداوند بارها فرموده است که قدرت در دست اوست.

God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

ای خداوند، محبّت پایدار نیز از آن توست و تو هرکس را مطابق کارهایش پاداش خواهی داد.

Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
