I John 4

Възлюбени, не вярвайте на всеки дух, а изпитвайте духовете дали са от Бога, защото много лъжепророци излязоха по света.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

По това познавайте Божия Дух: всеки дух, който изповяда, че Иисус Христос е дошъл в плът, е от Бога;

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

а всеки дух, който не изповяда, че Иисус Христос е дошъл в плът, не е от Бога; и това е духът на Антихриста, за когото сте чули, че идва, и сега вече е в света.

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Вие сте от Бога, дечица, и сте ги победили, защото Този, който е във вас, е по-велик от онзи, който е в света.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Те са от света, затова светски говорят и светът тях слуша.

They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

Ние сме от Бога. Който познава Бога, нас слуша; който не е от Бога, не ни слуша. По това познаваме духа на истината и духа на заблудата.

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Възлюбени, да се любим един друг, защото любовта е от Бога; и всеки, който люби, е роден от Бога и познава Бога.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

Който не люби, не познава Бога, защото Бог е любов.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

В това се яви Божията любов към нас, че Бог изпрати на света Своя Единороден Син, за да живеем чрез Него.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

В това се състои любовта – не че ние възлюбихме Бога, а че Той възлюби нас и прати Сина Си като умилостивение за нашите грехове.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Възлюбени, понеже Бог така ни възлюби, то и ние сме длъжни да любим един другиго.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Никой никога не е видял Бога; но ако любим един другиго, Бог обитава в нас и Неговата любов е съвършена в нас.

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

По това познаваме, че стоим в Него и Той в нас, защото ни е дал от Духа Си.

Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

И ние видяхме и свидетелстваме, че Отец прати Сина за Спасител на света.

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

Който изповяда, че Иисус е Божият Син, Бог обитава в него, и той – в Бога.

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

И ние сме познали и сме повярвали любовта, която Бог има към нас. Бог е любов; и който стои в любовта, стои в Бога, и Бог – в него.

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

В това се усъвършенства любовта в нас, че имаме дръзновение в съдния ден, защото, както е Той, така сме и ние в този свят.

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

В любовта няма страх, а съвършената любов изгонва страха, защото в страха има наказание, но който се страхува, не е станал съвършен в любовта.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Ние любим, защото първо Той възлюби нас.

We love him, because he first loved us.

Ако каже някой: Любя Бога, а мрази брат си, той е лъжец; защото, който не люби брат си, когото е видял, не може да люби Бога, когото не е видял.

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

И тази заповед имаме от Него: който люби Бога, да люби и брат си.

And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
