Psalms 61

Ey Tanrı, yakarışımı işit, Duama kulak ver!

Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

Sana seslenirim yeryüzünün öbür ucundan, Yüreğime hüzün çökünce. Erişemeyeceğim yüksek bir kayaya çıkar beni,

From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Çünkü sen benim için sığınak, Düşmana karşı güçlü bir kule oldun.

For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

Çadırında sonsuza dek oturmak Ve kanatlarının gölgesine sığınmak isterim. Sela

I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

Çünkü sen, ey Tanrı, adaklarımı duydun, Adından korkanların mirasını bana verdin.

For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

Kralın günlerine gün kat, Yılları yüzyıllar olsun!

Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations.

Tanrı’nın huzurunda sonsuza dek tahtında otursun; Onu sevgin ve sadakatinle koru!

He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.

O zaman adını hep ilahilerle öveceğim, Her gün adaklarımı yerine getireceğim.

So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
