Psalms 3

Senhor, como se têm multiplicado os meus adversários! Muitos se levantam contra mim.

LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.

Muitos são os que dizem de mim: Não há socorro para ele em Deus.

Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.

Mas tu, Senhor, és um escudo ao redor de mim, a minha glória, e aquele que exulta a minha cabeça.

But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

Com a minha voz clamo ao Senhor, e ele do seu santo monte me responde.

I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.

Eu me deito e durmo; acordo, pois o Senhor me sustenta.

I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.

Não tenho medo dos dez milhares de pessoas que se puseram contra mim ao meu redor.

I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

Levanta-te, Senhor! Salva-me, Deus meu! Pois tu feres no queixo todos os meus inimigos; quebras os dentes aos ímpios.

Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

A salvação vem do Senhor; sobre o teu povo seja a tua bênção.

Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
