Psalms 29

Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

داؤد کا زبور۔ اے اللہ کے فرزندو، رب کی تمجید کرو! رب کے جلال اور قدرت کی ستائش کرو!

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

رب کے نام کو جلال دو۔ مُقدّس لباس سے آراستہ ہو کر رب کو سجدہ کرو۔

The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

رب کی آواز سمندر کے اوپر گونجتی ہے۔ جلال کا خدا گرجتا ہے، رب گہرے پانی کے اوپر گرجتا ہے۔

The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

رب کی آواز زوردار ہے، رب کی آواز پُرجلال ہے۔

The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

رب کی آواز دیودار کے درختوں کو توڑ ڈالتی ہے، رب لبنان کے دیودار کے درختوں کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیتا ہے۔

He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

وہ لبنان کو بچھڑے اور کوہِ سِریون کو جنگلی بَیل کے بچے کی طرح کودنے پھاندنے دیتا ہے۔

The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

رب کی آواز آگ کے شعلے بھڑکا دیتی ہے۔

The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

رب کی آواز ریگستان کو ہلا دیتی ہے، رب دشتِ قادس کو کانپنے دیتا ہے۔

The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

رب کی آواز سن کر ہرنی دردِ زہ میں مبتلا ہو جاتی اور جنگلوں کے پتے جھڑ جاتے ہیں۔ لیکن اُس کی سکونت گاہ میں سب پکارتے ہیں، ”جلال!“

The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.

رب سیلاب کے اوپر تخت نشین ہے، رب بادشاہ کی حیثیت سے ابد تک تخت نشین ہے۔

The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

رب اپنی قوم کو تقویت دے گا، رب اپنے لوگوں کو سلامتی کی برکت دے گا۔
