Psalms 20

The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;

داؤد کا زبور۔ موسیقی کے راہنما کے لئے۔ مصیبت کے دن رب تیری سنے، یعقوب کے خدا کا نام تجھے محفوظ رکھے۔

Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

وہ مقدِس سے تیری مدد بھیجے، وہ صیون سے تیرا سہارا بنے۔

Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.

وہ تیری غلہ کی نذریں یاد کرے، تیری بھسم ہونے والی قربانیاں قبول فرمائے۔ (سِلاہ)

Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.

وہ تیرے دل کی آرزو پوری کرے، تیرے تمام منصوبوں کو کامیابی بخشے۔

We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

تب ہم تیری نجات کی خوشی منائیں گے، ہم اپنے خدا کے نام میں فتح کا جھنڈا گاڑیں گے۔ رب تیری تمام گزارشیں پوری کرے۔

Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

اب مَیں نے جان لیا ہے کہ رب اپنے مسح کئے ہوئے بادشاہ کی مدد کرتا ہے۔ وہ اپنے مُقدّس آسمان سے اُس کی سن کر اپنے دہنے ہاتھ کی قدرت سے اُسے چھٹکارا دے گا۔

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

بعض اپنے رتھوں پر، بعض اپنے گھوڑوں پر فخر کرتے ہیں، لیکن ہم رب اپنے خدا کے نام پر فخر کریں گے۔

They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

ہمارے دشمن جھک کر گر جائیں گے، لیکن ہم اُٹھ کر مضبوطی سے کھڑے رہیں گے۔

Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.

اے رب، ہماری مدد فرما! بادشاہ ہماری سنے جب ہم مدد کے لئے پکاریں۔
