Ezekiel 10

Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
مَیں نے اُس گنبد پر نظر ڈالی جو کروبی فرشتوں کے سروں کے اوپر پھیلی ہوئی تھی۔ اُس پر سنگِ لاجورد کا تخت سا نظر آیا۔
And he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.
رب نے کتان سے ملبّس مرد سے فرمایا، ”کروبی فرشتوں کے نیچے لگے پہیوں کے بیچ میں جا۔ وہاں سے دو مٹھی بھر کوئلے لے کر شہر پر بکھیر دے۔“ آدمی میرے دیکھتے دیکھتے فرشتوں کے بیچ میں چلا گیا۔
Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.
اُس وقت کروبی فرشتے رب کے گھر کے جنوب میں کھڑے تھے، اور اندرونی صحن بادل سے بھرا ہوا تھا۔
Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD'S glory.
پھر رب کا جلال جو کروبی فرشتوں کے اوپر ٹھہرا ہوا تھا وہاں سے اُٹھ کر رب کے گھر کی دہلیز پر رُک گیا۔ پورا مکان بادل سے بھر گیا بلکہ صحن بھی رب کے جلال کی آب و تاب سے بھر گیا۔
And the sound of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.
کروبی فرشتے اپنے پَروں کو اِتنے زور سے پھڑپھڑا رہے تھے کہ اُس کا شور بیرونی صحن تک سنائی دے رہا تھا۔ یوں لگ رہا تھا کہ قادرِ مطلق خدا بول رہا ہے۔
And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.
جب رب نے کتان سے ملبّس آدمی کو حکم دیا کہ کروبی فرشتوں کے پہیوں کے بیچ میں سے جلتے ہوئے کوئلے لے تو وہ اُن کے درمیان چل کر ایک پہئے کے پاس کھڑا ہوا۔
And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and went out.
پھر کروبی فرشتوں میں سے ایک نے اپنا ہاتھ بڑھا کر بیچ میں جلنے والے کوئلوں میں سے کچھ لے لیا اور آدمی کے ہاتھوں میں ڈال دیا۔ کتان سے ملبّس یہ آدمی کوئلے لے کر چلا گیا۔
And there appeared in the cherubims the form of a man's hand under their wings.
مَیں نے دیکھا کہ کروبی فرشتوں کے پَروں کے نیچے کچھ ہے جو انسانی ہاتھ جیسا لگ رہا ہے۔
And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of a beryl stone.
ہر فرشتے کے پاس ایک پہیہ تھا۔ پکھراج سے بنے یہ چار پہئے
And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.
ایک جیسے تھے۔ ہر پہئے کے اندر ایک اَور پہیہ زاویۂ قائمہ میں گھوم رہا تھا،
When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.
اِس لئے یہ مُڑے بغیر ہر رُخ اختیار کر سکتے تھے۔ جس طرف ایک چل پڑتا اُس طرف باقی بھی مُڑے بغیر چلنے لگتے۔
And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.
فرشتوں کے جسموں کی ہر جگہ پر آنکھیں ہی آنکھیں تھیں۔ آنکھیں نہ صرف سامنے نظر آئیں بلکہ اُن کی پیٹھ، ہاتھوں اور پَروں پر بھی بلکہ چاروں پہیوں پر بھی۔
As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.
توبھی یہ پہئے ہی تھے، کیونکہ مَیں نے خود سنا کہ اُن کے لئے یہی نام استعمال ہوا۔
And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
ہر فرشتے کے چار چہرے تھے۔ پہلا چہرہ کروبی کا، دوسرا آدمی کا، تیسرا شیرببر کا اور چوتھا عقاب کا چہرہ تھا۔
And the cherubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.
پھر کروبی فرشتے اُڑ گئے۔ وہی جاندار تھے جنہیں مَیں دریائے کبار کے کنارے دیکھ چکا تھا۔
And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.
جب فرشتے حرکت میں آ جاتے تو پہئے بھی چلنے لگتے، اور جب فرشتے پھڑپھڑا کر اُڑنے لگتے تو پہئے بھی اُن کے ساتھ اُڑنے لگتے۔
When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.
فرشتوں کے رُکنے پر پہئے رُک جاتے، اور اُن کے اُڑنے پر یہ بھی اُڑ جاتے، کیونکہ جانداروں کی روح اُن میں تھی۔
Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.
پھر رب کا جلال اپنے گھر کی دہلیز سے ہٹ گیا اور دوبارہ کروبی فرشتوں کے اوپر آ کر ٹھہر گیا۔
And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD'S house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
میرے دیکھتے دیکھتے فرشتے اپنے پَروں کو پھیلا کر چل پڑے۔ چلتے چلتے وہ رب کے گھر کے مشرقی دروازے کے پاس رُک گئے۔ خدائے اسرائیل کا جلال اُن کے اوپر ٹھہرا رہا۔
This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubims.
وہی جاندار تھے جنہیں مَیں نے دریائے کبار کے کنارے خدائے اسرائیل کے نیچے دیکھا تھا۔ مَیں نے جان لیا کہ یہ کروبی فرشتے ہیں۔
Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.
ہر ایک کے چار چہرے اور چار پَر تھے، اور پَروں کے نیچے کچھ نظر آیا جو انسانی ہاتھوں کی مانند تھا۔
And the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river of Chebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every one straight forward.
اُن کے چہروں کی شکل و صورت اُن چہروں کی مانند تھی جو مَیں نے دریائے کبار کے کنارے دیکھے تھے۔ چلتے وقت ہر جاندار سیدھا اپنے کسی ایک چہرے کا رُخ اختیار کرتا تھا۔
