Ezekiel 11

Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD'S house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

تب روح مجھے اُٹھا کر رب کے گھر کے مشرقی دروازے کے پاس لے گیا۔ وہاں دروازے پر 25 مرد کھڑے تھے۔ مَیں نے دیکھا کہ قوم کے دو بزرگ یازنیاہ بن عزور اور فلطیاہ بن بِنایاہ بھی اُن میں شامل ہیں۔

Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:

رب نے فرمایا، ”اے آدم زاد، یہ وہی مرد ہیں جو شریر منصوبے باندھ رہے اور یروشلم میں بُرے مشورے دے رہے ہیں۔

Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.

یہ کہتے ہیں، ’آنے والے دنوں میں گھر تعمیر کرنے کی ضرورت نہیں۔ ہمارا شہر تو دیگ ہے جبکہ ہم اُس میں پکنے والا بہترین گوشت ہیں۔‘

Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

آدم زاد، چونکہ وہ ایسی باتیں کرتے ہیں اِس لئے نبوّت کر! اُن کے خلاف نبوّت کر!“

And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.

تب رب کا روح مجھ پر آ ٹھہرا، اور اُس نے مجھے یہ پیش کرنے کو کہا، ”رب فرماتا ہے، ’اے اسرائیلی قوم، تم اِس قسم کی باتیں کرتے ہو۔ مَیں تو اُن خیالات سے خوب واقف ہوں جو تمہارے دلوں سے اُبھرتے رہتے ہیں۔

Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.

تم نے اِس شہر میں متعدد لوگوں کو قتل کر کے اُس کی گلیوں کو لاشوں سے بھر دیا ہے۔‘

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

چنانچہ رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے، ’بےشک شہر دیگ ہے، لیکن تم اُس میں پکنے والا اچھا گوشت نہیں ہو گے بلکہ وہی جن کو تم نے اُس کے درمیان قتل کیا ہے۔ تمہیں مَیں اِس شہر سے نکال دوں گا۔

Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD.

جس تلوار سے تم ڈرتے ہو، اُسی کو مَیں تم پر نازل کروں گا۔‘ یہ رب قادرِ مطلق کا فرمان ہے۔

And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

’مَیں تمہیں شہر سے نکالوں گا اور پردیسیوں کے حوالے کر کے تمہاری عدالت کروں گا۔

Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

تم تلوار کی زد میں آ کر مر جاؤ گے۔ اسرائیل کی حدود پر ہی مَیں تمہاری عدالت کروں گا۔ تب تم جان لو گے کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں۔

This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel:

چنانچہ نہ یروشلم شہر تمہارے لئے دیگ ہو گا، نہ تم اُس میں بہترین گوشت ہو گے بلکہ مَیں اسرائیل کی حدود ہی پر تمہاری عدالت کروں گا۔

And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.

تب تم جان لو گے کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں، جس کے احکام کے مطابق تم نے زندگی نہیں گزاری۔ کیونکہ تم نے میرے اصولوں کی پیروی نہیں کی بلکہ اپنی پڑوسی قوموں کے اصولوں کی‘۔“

And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

مَیں ابھی اِس پیش گوئی کا اعلان کر رہا تھا کہ فلطیاہ بن بِنایاہ فوت ہوا۔ یہ دیکھ کر مَیں منہ کے بل گر گیا اور بلند آواز سے چیخ اُٹھا، ”ہائے، ہائے! اے رب قادرِ مطلق، کیا تُو اسرائیل کے بچے کھچے حصے کو سراسر مٹانا چاہتا ہے؟“

Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

رب مجھ سے ہم کلام ہوا،

Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession.

”اے آدم زاد، یروشلم کے باشندے تیرے بھائیوں، تیرے رشتے داروں اور بابل میں جلاوطن ہوئے تمام اسرائیلیوں کے بارے میں کہہ رہے ہیں، ’یہ لوگ رب سے کہیں دُور ہو گئے ہیں، اب اسرائیل ہمارے ہی قبضے میں ہے۔‘

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

جو اِس قسم کی باتیں کرتے ہیں اُنہیں جواب دے، ’رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ جی ہاں، مَیں نے اُنہیں دُور دُور بھگا دیا، اور اب وہ دیگر قوموں کے درمیان ہی رہتے ہیں۔ مَیں نے خود اُنہیں مختلف ممالک میں منتشر کر دیا، ایسے علاقوں میں جہاں اُنہیں مقدِس میں میرے حضور آنے کا موقع تھوڑا ہی ملتا ہے۔

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

لیکن رب قادرِ مطلق یہ بھی فرماتا ہے، ’مَیں تمہیں دیگر قوموں میں سے نکال لوں گا، تمہیں اُن ملکوں سے جمع کروں گا جہاں مَیں نے تمہیں منتشر کر دیا تھا۔ تب مَیں تمہیں ملکِ اسرائیل دوبارہ عطا کروں گا۔‘

And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

پھر وہ یہاں آ کر تمام مکروہ بُت اور گھنونی چیزیں دُور کریں گے۔

And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

اُس وقت مَیں اُنہیں نیا دل بخش کر اُن میں نئی روح ڈالوں گا۔ مَیں اُن کا سنگین دل نکال کر اُنہیں گوشت پوست کا نرم دل عطا کروں گا۔

That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

تب وہ میرے احکام کے مطابق زندگی گزاریں گے اور دھیان سے میری ہدایات پر عمل کریں گے۔ وہ میری قوم ہوں گے، اور مَیں اُن کا خدا ہوں گا۔

But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.

لیکن جن لوگوں کے دل اُن کے گھنونے بُتوں سے لپٹے رہتے ہیں اُن کے سر پر مَیں اُن کے غلط کام کا مناسب اجر لاؤں گا۔ یہ رب قادرِ مطلق کا فرمان ہے۔“

Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

پھر کروبی فرشتوں نے اپنے پَروں کو پھیلایا، اُن کے پہئے حرکت میں آ گئے اور خدائے اسرائیل کا جلال جو اُن کے اوپر تھا

And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

اُٹھ کر شہر سے نکل گیا۔ چلتے چلتے وہ یروشلم کے مشرق میں واقع پہاڑ پر ٹھہر گیا۔

Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

اللہ کے روح کی عطاکردہ اِس رویا میں روح مجھے اُٹھا کر ملکِ بابل کے جلاوطنوں کے پاس واپس لے گیا۔ پھر رویا ختم ہوئی،

Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had shewed me.

اور مَیں نے جلاوطنوں کو سب کچھ سنایا جو رب نے مجھے دکھایا تھا۔
