Ephesians 3

For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

اِس وجہ سے مَیں پولس جو آپ غیریہودیوں کی خاطر مسیح عیسیٰ کا قیدی ہوں اللہ سے دعا کرتا ہوں۔

If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

آپ نے تو سن لیا ہے کہ مجھے آپ میں اللہ کے فضل کا انتظام چلانے کی خاص ذمہ داری دی گئی ہے۔

How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

جس طرح مَیں نے پہلے ہی مختصر طور پر لکھا ہے، اللہ نے خود مجھ پر یہ راز ظاہر کر دیا۔

Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

جب آپ وہ پڑھیں گے جو مَیں نے لکھا تو آپ جان لیں گے کہ مجھے مسیح کے راز کے بارے میں کیا کیا سمجھ آئی ہے۔

Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

گزرے زمانوں میں اللہ نے یہ بات ظاہر نہیں کی، لیکن اب اُس نے اِسے روح القدس کے ذریعے اپنے مُقدّس رسولوں اور نبیوں پر ظاہر کر دیا۔

That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

اور اللہ کا راز یہ ہے کہ اُس کی خوش خبری کے ذریعے غیریہودی اسرائیل کے ساتھ آسمانی بادشاہی کے وارث، ایک ہی بدن کے اعضا اور اُسی وعدے میں شریک ہیں جو اللہ نے مسیح عیسیٰ میں کیا ہے۔

Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

مَیں اللہ کے مفت فضل اور اُس کی قدرت کے اظہار سے خوش خبری کا خادم بن گیا۔

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

اگرچہ مَیں اللہ کے تمام مُقدّسین سے کمتر ہوں توبھی اُس نے مجھے یہ فضل بخشا کہ مَیں غیریہودیوں کو اُس لامحدود دولت کی خوش خبری سناؤں جو مسیح میں دست یاب ہے۔

And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

یہی میری ذمہ داری بن گئی کہ مَیں سب پر اُس راز کا انتظام ظاہر کروں جو گزرے زمانوں میں سب چیزوں کے خالق خدا میں پوشیدہ رہا۔

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

کیونکہ اللہ چاہتا تھا کہ اب مسیح کی جماعت ہی آسمانی حکمرانوں اور قوتوں کو اللہ کی وسیع حکمت کے بارے میں علم پہنچائے۔

According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

یہی اُس کا ازلی منصوبہ تھا جو اُس نے ہمارے خداوند مسیح عیسیٰ کے وسیلے سے تکمیل تک پہنچایا۔

In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

اُس میں اور اُس پر ایمان رکھ کر ہم پوری آزادی اور اعتماد کے ساتھ اللہ کے حضور آ سکتے ہیں۔

Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

اِس لئے میری آپ سے گزارش ہے کہ آپ میری مصیبتیں دیکھ کر بےدل نہ ہو جائیں۔ یہ مَیں آپ کی خاطر برداشت کر رہا ہوں، اور یہ آپ کی عزت کا باعث ہیں۔

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

اِس وجہ سے مَیں باپ کے حضور اپنے گھٹنے ٹیکتا ہوں،

Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

اُس باپ کے سامنے جس سے آسمان و زمین کا ہر خاندان نامزد ہے۔

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

میری دعا ہے کہ وہ اپنے جلال کی دولت کے موافق یہ بخشے کہ آپ اُس کے روح کے وسیلے سے باطنی طور پر زبردست تقویت پائیں،

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

کہ مسیح ایمان کے ذریعے آپ کے دلوں میں سکونت کرے۔ ہاں، میری دعا ہے کہ آپ محبت میں جڑ پکڑیں اور اِس بنیاد پر زندگی یوں گزاریں

May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

کہ آپ باقی تمام مُقدّسین کے ساتھ یہ سمجھنے کے قابل بن جائیں کہ مسیح کی محبت کتنی چوڑی، کتنی لمبی، کتنی اونچی اور کتنی گہری ہے۔

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

خدا کرے کہ آپ مسیح کی یہ محبت جان لیں جو ہر علم سے کہیں افضل ہے اور یوں اللہ کی پوری معموری سے بھر جائیں۔

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

اللہ کی تمجید ہو جو اپنی اُس قدرت کے موافق جو ہم میں کام کر رہی ہے ایسا زبردست کام کر سکتا ہے جو ہماری ہر سوچ اور دعا سے کہیں باہر ہے۔

Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

ہاں، مسیح عیسیٰ اور اُس کی جماعت میں اللہ کی تمجید پشت در پشت اور ازل سے ابد تک ہوتی رہے۔ آمین۔
