Psalms 61

Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

خدایا، نالهٔ مرا بشنو و به دعای من گوش بده.

From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

در پریشانی و از این دیار غریب رو به سوی تو می‌آورم، تو مرا به مکانی مطمئن رهبری فرما.

For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

زیرا در برابر دشمنانم تو نگهبان و بُرج محکم من هستی.

I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

عطا فرما که تمام دوران عمرم در خانهٔ تو ساکن شوم و زیر سایهٔ بالهای تو در امان باشم.

For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

ای خدا، قولی را که به تو داده‌ام، شنیده‌ای و برکاتی را نصیب من کرده‌ای که به ترسندگان خود می‌دهی.

Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations.

به پادشاه عمر طولانی عطا فرما و به سالهای عمر وی بیافزا.

He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.

خدایا، تاج و تخت او را برای ابد در حضور خود برقرار ساز و با محبّت و وفاداری پایدار از او نگهداری کن.

So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

من همیشه تو را ستایش می‌کنم و هر روز نذری را که کرده‌‌ام، ادا می‌کنم.
