Psalms 64

Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

(По слав. 63) За първия певец. Псалм на Давид. Чуй гласа ми, Боже, когато се оплаквам; запази живота ми от ужаса на врага!

Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:

Скрий ме от тайния съвет на злодеите, от сганта на вършещите зло,

Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:

които острят езика си като меч и прицелват стрелите си — горчиви думи —

That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

за да застрелят тайно безукорния; внезапно го застрелват и не се боят.

They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?

Утвърждават се в зло намерение, наговарят се да скрият примки, казват: Кой ще ги види?

They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

Замислят беззакония, казват: Извършихме добре замислен план. И вътрешността, и сърцето на човек са дълбоки.

But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.

Но Бог ще изстреля по тях стрела; внезапно ще бъдат ранени.

So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

Злите им намерения ще дойдат върху тях; ще се потресат всички, които ги гледат.

And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.

И ще се убоят всички хора и ще възвестяват Божието дело, защото ще разберат това, което е направил.

The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

Праведният ще се радва в ГОСПОДА и ще се уповава на Него, и ще сияят всички, които са с право сърце.
