Numbers 27

Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph: and these are the names of his daughters; Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.

Тогава дойдоха дъщерите на Салпаад, сина на Ефер, син на Галаад, син на Махир, син на Манасия, от родовете на Манасия, сина на Йосиф. И ето имената на дъщерите му: Маала, Нуа, Егла, Мелха и Терса.

And they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

Те застанаха пред Мойсей, пред свещеника Елеазар и пред първенците и цялото общество при входа на шатъра за срещане и казаха:

Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.

Баща ни умря в пустинята; но той не беше от обществото на онези, които се събраха против ГОСПОДА в обществото на Корей, а умря в своя си грях; и нямаше синове.

Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.

Защо да изчезне името на баща ни отсред рода му, затова че не е имал син? Дай на нас наследство между братята на баща ни.

And Moses brought their cause before the LORD.

И Мойсей представи делото им пред ГОСПОДА.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

И ГОСПОД говори на Мойсей и каза:

The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.

Право говорят дъщерите на Салпаад; непременно да им дадеш наследствено притежание между братята на баща им и да прехвърлиш на тях наследството на баща им.

And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter.

А на израилевите синове говори и кажи: Ако някой умре, без да има син, тогава да прехвърлите наследството му върху дъщеря му.

And if he have no daughter, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his brethren.

А ако няма дъщеря, тогава да дадете наследството му на братята му.

And if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his father's brethren.

А ако няма братя, тогава да дадете наследството му на братята на баща му.

And if his father have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses.

А ако баща му няма братя, тогава да дадете наследството му на най-близкия му сродник от рода му и той да го наследи. Това да бъде съдийска наредба за израилевите синове, както ГОСПОД заповяда на Мойсей.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Get thee up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Israel.

След това ГОСПОД каза на Мойсей: Изкачи се на този хълм Аварим и огледай земята, която дадох на израилевите синове.

And when thou hast seen it, thou also shalt be gathered unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother was gathered.

И като я огледаш, ще се прибереш и ти при народа си, както се прибра брат ти Аарон;

For ye rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: that is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.

защото в пустинята Цин, когато обществото се караше, вие не се покорихте на заповедта Ми да Ме осветите при водата пред тях. Това е водата на Мерива при Кадис в пустинята Цин.

And Moses spake unto the LORD, saying,

И Мойсей говори на ГОСПОДА и каза:

Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,

ГОСПОД, Бог на духовете на всяка плът, нека постави над обществото мъж,

Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd.

който да излиза пред тях и който да влиза пред тях, който да ги извежда и който да ги въвежда, за да не бъде ГОСПОДНОТО общество като овце, които нямат пастир.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;

И ГОСПОД каза на Мойсей: Вземи си Иисус, сина на Навий, човек в когото е Духът, и положи на него ръката си.

And set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight.

И го представи пред свещеника Елеазар и пред цялото общество и му дай заповед пред тях.

And thou shalt put some of thine honour upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient.

И положи на него от своето достойнство, за да го слуша цялото общество на израилевите синове.

And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask counsel for him after the judgment of Urim before the LORD: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.

Той да стои пред свещеника Елеазар и той да се допитва за него според съда на Урим пред ГОСПОДА: по неговата заповед да излизат и по неговата заповед да влизат, той и всичките израилеви синове с него, цялото общество.

And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation:

И Мойсей направи както му заповядА ГОСПОД; взе Иисус и го представи пред свещеника Елеазар и пред цялото общество;

And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

и положи ръцете си на него и му даде заповед, както ГОСПОД заповяда чрез Мойсей.
