Joshua 4

And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan, that the LORD spake unto Joshua, saying,

И когато целият народ беше преминал напълно Йордан, ГОСПОД говори на Иисус и каза:

Take you twelve men out of the people, out of every tribe a man,

Вземете си дванадесет мъже от народа, по един мъж от всяко племе,

And command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests' feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodge this night.

и им заповядайте, като им кажете: Вдигнете си дванадесет камъка оттук, от средата на Йордан, от мястото, където краката на свещениците са стояли твърдо, и ги занесете със себе си и ги оставете на мястото за пренощуване, където ще пренощувате тази нощ.

Then Joshua called the twelve men, whom he had prepared of the children of Israel, out of every tribe a man:

Тогава Иисус повика дванадесетте мъже, които беше определил от израилевите синове, по един мъж от всяко племе.

And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the LORD your God into the midst of Jordan, and take ye up every man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the children of Israel:

И Иисус им каза: Преминете пред ковчега на ГОСПОДА, вашия Бог, в средата на Йордан и вдигнете всеки от вас по един камък на рамото си, според броя на племената на израилевите синове,

That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones?

за да бъде това за знак между вас. Когато в бъдеще синовете ви попитат и кажат: Защо ви са тези камъни? —

Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.

тогава да им кажете: Понеже водите на Йордан бяха отсечени пред ковчега на ГОСПОДНИЯ завет. Когато той преминаваше Йордан, водите на Йордан бяха отсечени. И тези камъни да бъдат за спомен на израилевите синове завинаги.

And the children of Israel did so as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones out of the midst of Jordan, as the LORD spake unto Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them unto the place where they lodged, and laid them down there.

И израилевите синове направиха така, както Иисус заповяда, и вдигнаха дванадесет камъка от средата на Йордан, както ГОСПОД говори на Иисус, според броя на племената на израилевите синове, и ги занесоха със себе си на мястото за пренощуване, и ги положиха там.

And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests which bare the ark of the covenant stood: and they are there unto this day.

А Иисус изправи дванадесет камъка в средата на Йордан, на мястото, където бяха стояли краката на свещениците, които носеха ковчега на завета; и те са там и до днес.

For the priests which bare the ark stood in the midst of Jordan, until every thing was finished that the LORD commanded Joshua to speak unto the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua: and the people hasted and passed over.

Защото свещениците, които носеха ковчега, стояха в средата на Йордан, докато се завърши всичко, което ГОСПОД беше заповядал на Иисус да говори на народа, според всичко, което Мойсей беше заповядал на Иисус. И народът побърза и премина.

And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over, that the ark of the LORD passed over, and the priests, in the presence of the people.

И когато целият народ беше преминал напълно, премина и ГОСПОДНИЯТ ковчег, и свещениците пред народа.

And the children of Reuben, and the children of Gad, and half the tribe of Manasseh, passed over armed before the children of Israel, as Moses spake unto them:

И синовете на Рувим, синовете на Гад и половината от манасиевото племе преминаха в боен ред пред израилевите синове, така както Мойсей им беше говорил;

About forty thousand prepared for war passed over before the LORD unto battle, to the plains of Jericho.

около четиридесет хиляди мъже, въоръжени за бой, преминаха пред ГОСПОДА за бой към равнините на Ерихон.

On that day the LORD magnified Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they feared him, as they feared Moses, all the days of his life.

В онзи ден ГОСПОД възвеличи Иисус пред очите на целия Израил; и те се бояха от него така, както се бяха бояли от Мойсей, през всичките дни на живота му.

And the LORD spake unto Joshua, saying,

Тогава ГОСПОД говори на Иисус и каза:

Command the priests that bear the ark of the testimony, that they come up out of Jordan.

Заповядай на свещениците, които носят ковчега на свидетелството, да излязат от Йордан.

Joshua therefore commanded the priests, saying, Come ye up out of Jordan.

И Иисус заповяда на свещениците и каза: Излезте от Йордан.

And it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD were come up out of the midst of Jordan, and the soles of the priests' feet were lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of Jordan returned unto their place, and flowed over all his banks, as they did before.

И когато свещениците, които носеха ковчега на ГОСПОДНИЯ завет, излязоха от Йордан, и стъпалата на краката на свещениците стъпиха на сухо, водите на Йордан се върнаха на мястото си и заляха целите му брегове както преди.

And the people came up out of Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in Gilgal, in the east border of Jericho.

А народът излезе от Йордан на десетия ден от първия месец и се разположи на стан в Галгал, на източния край на Ерихон.

And those twelve stones, which they took out of Jordan, did Joshua pitch in Gilgal.

А онези дванадесет камъка, които те взеха от Йордан, Иисус изправи в Галгал.

And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?

И той говори на израилевите синове и каза: Когато утре синовете ви попитат бащите си и кажат: Какви са тези камъни? —

Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land.

тогава да разкажете на синовете си и да им кажете: По сухо премина Израил този Йордан;

For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over:

защото ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, пресуши водите на Йордан пред вас, докато преминахте, както ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, направи с Червено море, което пресуши пред нас, докато преминахме,

That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever.

за да познаят всичките земни племена, че ГОСПОДНАТА ръка е мощна, и да се боите от ГОСПОДА, вашия Бог, през всичките дни.
