Psalms 29

परमेश्वर के पुत्रों, यहोवा की स्तुति करो! उसकी महिमा और शक्ति के प्रशंसा गीत गाओ।

Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

यहोवा की प्रशंसा करो और उसके नाम को आदर प्रकट करो। विशेष वस्त्र पहनकर उसकी आराधना करो।

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

समुद्र के ऊपर यहोवा की वाणी निज गरजती है। परमेश्वर की वाणी महासागर के ऊपर मेघ के गरजन की तरह गरजता है।

The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

यहोवा की वाणी उसकी शक्ति को दिखाती है। उसकी ध्वनि उसके महिमा को प्रकट करती है।

The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

यहोवा की वाणी देवदार वृक्षों को तोड़ कर चकनाचूर कर देता है। यहोवा लबानोन के विशाल देवदार वृक्षों को तोड़ देता है।

The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

यहोवा लबानोन के पहाड़ों को कँपा देता है। वे नाचते बछड़े की तरह दिखने लगता है। हेर्मोन का पहाड़ काँप उठता है और उछलती जवान बकरी की तरह दिखता है।

He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

यहोवा की वाणी बिजली की कौधो से टकराती है।

The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

यहोवा की वाणी मरुस्थलों को कँपा देती है। यहोवा के स्वर से कादेश का मरुस्थल काँप उठता है।

The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

यहोवा की वाणी से हरिण भयभीत होते हैं। यहोवा दुर्गम वनों को नष्ट कर देता है। किन्तु उसके मन्दिर में लोग उसकी प्रशंसा के गीत गाते हैं।

The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

जलप्रलय के समय यहोवा राजा था। वह सदा के लिये राजा रहेगा।

The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.

यहोवा अपने भक्तों की रक्षा सदा करे, और अपने जनों को शांति का आशीष दे।

The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
