Psalms 6

Pou chèf sanba yo. Se sou enstriman akòd pou yo jwe mizik la. Sou wityèm lan. Se yon sòm David.

O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

Seyè, pa pini m' lè ou fache! Pa kale m' lè ou an kòlè!

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

Gen pitye pou mwen, Seyè, paske mwen santi m' san fòs. Geri mwen, Seyè, paske m'ap deperi.

My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?

Lespri m' boulvèse anpil, Seyè. Pou konbe tan bagay sa a la ankò?

Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.

Tounen vin delivre m' non, Seyè! Jan ou gen kè sansib sa a, pa kite m' mouri.

For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

Paske, lè yon moun mouri li pa chonje ou ankò. Pesonn pa fè lwanj ou kote mò yo ye a.

I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

Se fini m'ap fini afòs m'ap kriye. Lannwit, kabann mwen mouye nèt afòs jè m' kouri dlo.

Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

Figi m' fin rale afòs mwen gen lapenn. Mwen fin vye anba moun k'ap pèsekite m' yo.

Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.

Wete kò nou sou mwen, nou tout k'ap fè sa ki mal, paske Seyè a tande lè m'ap kriye.

The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.

Li tande m' lè m'ap rele nan pye li. Li reponn mwen lè m'ap lapriyè li. Tout lènmi m' yo pral wont, y'ap pè. Se vre wi. Y'ap kouri fè bak. Y'ap rete konsa lawont ap pran yo.

Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
