Joshua 10

А когато ерусалимският цар Адониседек чу, че Иисус превзел Гай и изпълнил над него проклятието; и както направил на Ерихон и на царя му, така направил на Гай и на царя му; и че жителите на Гаваон сключили мир с Израил и били между тях;

Now it came to pass, when Adoni–zedek king of Jerusalem had heard how Joshua had taken Ai, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king, so he had done to Ai and her king; and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them;

много се уплашиха, защото Гаваон беше голям град, като един от царските градове, и беше по-голям от Гай, и всичките му мъже бяха силни.

That they feared greatly, because Gibeon was a great city, as one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all the men thereof were mighty.

Затова ерусалимският цар Адониседек изпрати до хевронския цар Оам, до ярмутския цар Пирам, до лахиския цар Яфий и до еглонския цар Девир да кажат:

Wherefore Adoni–zedek king of Jerusalem sent unto Hoham king of Hebron, and unto Piram king of Jarmuth, and unto Japhia king of Lachish, and unto Debir king of Eglon, saying,

Изкачете се при мен и ми помогнете да унищожим Гаваон, защото е сключил мир с Иисус и с израилевите синове.

Come up unto me, and help me, that we may smite Gibeon: for it hath made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.

И петимата аморейски царе — ерусалимският цар, хевронският цар, ярмутският цар, лахиският цар и еглонският цар — се събраха и се изкачиха, те и всичките им войски, и разположиха стан пред Гаваон и се биха с него.

Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it.

Тогава гаваонските мъже пратиха известие до Иисус в стана при Галгал и казаха: Не оттегляй ръцете си от слугите си! Бързо се изкачи при нас и ни избави, и ни помогни, защото всичките аморейски царе, които живеят в хълмистата земя, се събраха против нас.

And the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.

И Иисус се изкачи от Галгал, той и с него целият народ, годен за война, и всичките храбри воини.

So Joshua ascended from Gilgal, he, and all the people of war with him, and all the mighty men of valour.

И ГОСПОД каза на Иисус: Не се бой от тях, защото ги предадох в ръката ти; никой от тях няма да устои пред теб.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before thee.

Затова Иисус ги нападна внезапно, след като се беше изкачвал цяла нощ от Галгал.

Joshua therefore came unto them suddenly, and went up from Gilgal all night.

И ГОСПОД ги обърка пред Израил и им нанесе голямо поражение в Гаваон, и ги преследва по пътя, който се изкачва към Веторон, и ги избиваше до Азика и Макида.

And the LORD discomfited them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goeth up to Beth–horon, and smote them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah.

И когато те бягаха пред Израил и бяха по нанадолнището от Веторон, ГОСПОД хвърляше върху тях големи камъни от небето до Азика и те измряха. Умрелите от камъните на градушката бяха повече от онези, които израилевите синове убиха с меч.

And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Beth–horon, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.

Тогава Иисус говори на ГОСПОДА в деня, когато ГОСПОД предаде аморейците пред израилевите синове, и каза пред очите на Израил: Застани, слънце, над Гаваон и ти, луна, в долината Еалон!

Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

И слънцето застана и луната спря, докато народът отмъсти на враговете си. Това не е ли записано в Книгата на Праведния? И слънцето застана в средата на небето и не побърза да залезе почти цял ден.

And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

И такъв ден не е имало нито преди, нито после, в който ГОСПОД да послуша гласа на човек; защото ГОСПОД воюва за Израил.

And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel.

После Иисус се върна в стана при Галгал и целият Израил с него.

And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, unto the camp to Gilgal.

А онези петима царе избягаха и се скриха в пещерата при Макида.

But these five kings fled, and hid themselves in a cave at Makkedah.

И съобщиха на Иисус и казаха: Петимата царе бяха намерени скрити в пещерата при Макида.

And it was told Joshua, saying, The five kings are found hid in a cave at Makkedah.

И Иисус каза: Отърколете големи камъни на входа на пещерата и поставете мъже при нея да ги пазят;

And Joshua said, Roll great stones upon the mouth of the cave, and set men by it for to keep them:

а вие самите не стойте, а преследвайте враговете си и разбийте изоставащите им. Не ги оставяйте да влязат в градовете си, защото ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, ги предаде в ръката ви!

And stay ye not, but pursue after your enemies, and smite the hindmost of them; suffer them not to enter into their cities: for the LORD your God hath delivered them into your hand.

И когато Иисус и израилевите синове им бяха нанесли окончателно и много тежко поражение, докато ги довършиха, а останалите оцелели от тях бяха влезли в укрепените градове,

And it came to pass, when Joshua and the children of Israel had made an end of slaying them with a very great slaughter, till they were consumed, that the rest which remained of them entered into fenced cities.

тогава целият народ се върна с мир при Иисус в стана в Макида. Никой не изрече дума против някого от израилевите синове.

And all the people returned to the camp to Joshua at Makkedah in peace: none moved his tongue against any of the children of Israel.

Тогава Иисус каза: Отворете входа на пещерата и изведете при мен онези петима царе от пещерата!

Then said Joshua, Open the mouth of the cave, and bring out those five kings unto me out of the cave.

И те направиха така и изведоха при него онези петима царе от пещерата: ерусалимския цар, хевронския цар, ярмутския цар, лахиския цар и еглонския цар.

And they did so, and brought forth those five kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon.

И когато изведоха при Иисус тези царе, Иисус извика всичките израилеви мъже и каза на предводителите на войниците, които бяха отишли с него: Приближете се и сложете краката си на вратовете на тези царе! И те се приближиха и сложиха краката си на вратовете им.

And it came to pass, when they brought out those kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them.

И Иисус им каза: Не се бойте и не се страхувайте; бъдете силни и смели, понеже така ще направи ГОСПОД на всички ваши врагове, срещу които воювате!

And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.

И после Иисус ги удари и ги уби, и ги обеси на пет дървета; и те висяха на дърветата до вечерта.

And afterward Joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged them on five trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening.

А при залез слънце Иисус заповяда и ги свалиха от дърветата, и ги хвърлиха в пещерата, където се бяха скрили, и сложиха големи камъни на входа на пещерата, които са там и до ден днешен.

And it came to pass at the time of the going down of the sun, that Joshua commanded, and they took them down off the trees, and cast them into the cave wherein they had been hid, and laid great stones in the cave's mouth, which remain until this very day.

В онзи ден Иисус превзе Макида и я порази с острието на меча, и изпълни проклятието над нея и над царя й, и над всички, които бяха в нея. Не остави никой оцелял и направи на макидския цар, както беше направил на ерихонския цар.

And that day Joshua took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof he utterly destroyed, them, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain: and he did to the king of Makkedah as he did unto the king of Jericho.

След това Иисус премина от Макида в Ливна, и целият Израил с него, и воюва против Ливна.

Then Joshua passed from Makkedah, and all Israel with him, unto Libnah, and fought against Libnah:

И ГОСПОД предаде и нея, и царя й в ръката на Израил; и той порази с острието на меча нея и всички, които бяха в нея. Не остави никой оцелял в нея и направи на царя й, както беше направил на ерихонския цар.

And the LORD delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain in it; but did unto the king thereof as he did unto the king of Jericho.

После Иисус премина от Ливна в Лахис, и целият Израил с него, и се разположиха на стан срещу него, и воюваха срещу него.

And Joshua passed from Libnah, and all Israel with him, unto Lachish, and encamped against it, and fought against it:

И ГОСПОД предаде Лахис в ръката на Израил и той го превзе на втория ден, и порази с острието на меча него и всички, които бяха в него, според всичко, което бяха направили на Ливна.

And the LORD delivered Lachish into the hand of Israel, which took it on the second day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein, according to all that he had done to Libnah.

Тогава гезерският цар Орам дойде да помогне на Лахис, но Иисус разби него и народа му, докато не му остана нито един оцелял.

Then Horam king of Gezer came up to help Lachish; and Joshua smote him and his people, until he had left him none remaining.

И Иисус премина от Лахис в Еглон, и целият Израил с него, и се разположиха на стан срещу него, и воюваха срещу него.

And from Lachish Joshua passed unto Eglon, and all Israel with him; and they encamped against it, and fought against it:

И в същия ден те го превзеха, и го поразиха с острието на меча; и в същия ден той изпълни проклятието над всички, които бяха в него, според всичко, което беше направил на Лахис.

And they took it on that day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein he utterly destroyed that day, according to all that he had done to Lachish.

После Иисус се изкачи от Еглон в Хеврон, и целият Израил с него, и воюваха срещу него.

And Joshua went up from Eglon, and all Israel with him, unto Hebron; and they fought against it:

И го превзеха и поразиха с острието на меча него и царя му, и всичките му градове, и всички, които бяха в него. Не остави никой оцелял, според всичко, което беше направил на Еглон, и изпълни проклятието над него и всички, които бяха в него.

And they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof, and all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but destroyed it utterly, and all the souls that were therein.

И Иисус се обърна към Девир, и целият Израил с него, и воюваха против него.

And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to Debir; and fought against it:

И го превзе с царя му и всичките му градове и ги поразиха с острието на меча, и изпълниха проклятието над всички, които бяха в него. Не остави никой оцелял; както беше направил на Хеврон и както беше направил и на Ливна и на царя й, така направи и на Девир и на царя му.

And he took it, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining: as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir, and to the king thereof; as he had done also to Libnah, and to her king.

Така Иисус порази цялата земя — хълмистата земя и юга, и низината, и склоновете, и всичките им царе. Не остави никой оцелял, а изпълни проклятието над всичко, което дишаше, така както беше заповядал ГОСПОД, Израилевият Бог.

So Joshua smote all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the vale, and of the springs, and all their kings: he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the LORD God of Israel commanded.

И Иисус ги разби от Кадис-Варни до Газа, и цялата Гесенска земя до Гаваон.

And Joshua smote them from Kadesh–barnea even unto Gaza, and all the country of Goshen, even unto Gibeon.

Всички тези царе и земята им Иисус превзе наведнъж, защото ГОСПОД, Израилевият Бог, воюваше за Израил.

And all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel.

После Иисус се върна в стана в Галгал, и целият Израил с него.

And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, unto the camp to Gilgal.
