Exodus 33

И ГОСПОД каза на Мойсей: Иди, вдигни се оттук, ти и народът, който си извел от египетската земя, и иди в земята, за която се клех на Авраам, на Исаак и на Яков, като казах: На твоето потомство ще я дам.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:

Ще изпратя пред теб ангел и ще изгоня ханаанците, аморейците, хетейците, ферезейците, евейците и евусейците;

And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:

и ще ви заведа в земя, където текат мляко и мед; понеже Аз няма да вървя помежду ти -- защото си коравовратен народ -- да не би да те довърша по пътя.

Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.

И когато народът чу това лошо известие, плака горчиво; и никой не си сложи украшенията.

And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.

Защото ГОСПОД беше казал на Мойсей: Кажи на израилевите синове: Вие сте коравовратен народ; за един миг ако бих дошъл помежду ти, бих те довършил. Затова свали си сега украшенията, за да видя какво ще направя с теб.

For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.

И израилевите синове махнаха украшенията си при планината Хорив.

And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb.

И Мойсей взе шатъра и го постави вън от стана, далеч от стана, и го нарече шатър за срещане, и всеки, който търсеше ГОСПОДА, излизаше при шатъра за срещане, който беше вън от стана.

And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.

И когато Мойсей излизаше към шатъра, целият народ ставаше и стоеше, всеки при входа на шатрата си, и гледаше след Мойсей, докато влезеше в шатъра.

And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.

И когато Мойсей влезеше в шатъра, облачният стълб слизаше и заставаше на входа на шатъра, и ГОСПОД говореше с Мойсей.

And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses.

И целият народ гледаше облачния стълб, който стоеше на входа на шатъра, и целият народ ставаше и се покланяше, всеки при входа на шатрата си.

And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.

И ГОСПОД говореше на Мойсей лице в лице, както човек говори с приятеля си. И Мойсей се връщаше в стана, а слугата му, младежът Иисус, синът на Навий, не се отдалечаваше от вътрешността на шатъра.

And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.

И Мойсей каза на ГОСПОДА: Ето, Ти ми казваш: Води този народ! -- но не си ми изявил кого ще изпратиш с мен. Но пак Ти си ми казал: Теб познавам по име и ти си намерил благоволение пред Мен.

And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.

И сега, ако съм намерил благоволение пред Теб, покажи ми, моля Ти се, пътищата Си, за да Те позная и да намеря благоволение пред Теб; и виж, че тази нация е Твой народ.

Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.

И ГОСПОД каза: Моето присъствие ще върви с теб, и Аз ще ти дам почивка.

And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

А Мойсей Му каза: Ако Твоето присъствие не дойде с мен, не ни извеждай оттук,

And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.

защото как ще се познае сега, че съм намерил благоволение пред Теб, аз и Твоят народ? Нали чрез Твоето идване с нас, така че да бъдем отделени аз и Твоят народ от всеки народ, който е по лицето на земята!

For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

И ГОСПОД каза на Мойсей: И това, което си казал, ще направя, защото си намерил благоволение пред Мен и те познавам по име.

And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.

Тогава Мойсей каза: Моля Те, покажи ми славата Си!

And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.

А ГОСПОД му каза: Ще направя да мине пред теб всичката Моя благост и ще провъзглася пред теб Името ГОСПОД; и ще покажа милост, към когото ще покажа, и ще пожаля, когото ще пожаля.

And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

И каза още: Не можеш да видиш лицето Ми, защото човек не може да Ме види и да остане жив.

And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

И ГОСПОД каза: Ето място при Мен, ти застани на канарата

And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

и когато минава славата Ми, ще те поставя в една пукнатина на канарата и ще те прикрия с ръката Си, докато премина.

And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:

После ще вдигна ръката Си и ще Ме видиш изотзад, но лицето Ми няма да се види.

And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.
