I Samuel 3

И момчето Самуил служеше на ГОСПОДА пред Илий. А ГОСПОДНОТО слово беше рядко в онези дни; видението не беше често.

And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.

И по онова време, когато Илий лежеше на мястото си — а очите му бяха започнали да отслабват и не можеше да вижда —

And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see;

и Божият светилник още не беше угаснал и Самуил лежеше в ГОСПОДНИЯ храм, където беше Божият ковчег,

And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep;

ГОСПОД повика Самуил. И той каза: Ето ме.

That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.

И той изтича при Илий и каза: Ето ме, защото ме повика. А той каза: Не съм те викал; легни си пак. И той отиде и си легна.

And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down.

А ГОСПОД извика втори път: Самуиле! И Самуил стана и отиде при Илий, и каза: Ето ме, защото ме повика. А той отговори: Не съм те викал, сине мой; легни си пак.

And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.

А Самуил още не познаваше ГОСПОДА и още не му се беше откривало слово от ГОСПОДА.

Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.

И ГОСПОД повика пак, за трети път. И той стана, отиде при Илий и каза: Ето ме, защото ме повика. Тогава Илий разбра, че ГОСПОД викаше момчето.

And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.

И Илий каза на Самуил: Иди и си легни; и ако те повика, кажи: Говори, ГОСПОДИ, защото слугата Ти слуша. И Самуил отиде и си легна на мястото.

Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

И ГОСПОД дойде и застана, и повика както предишните пъти: Самуиле! Самуиле! Тогава Самуил каза: Говори, защото слугата Ти слуша.

And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

И ГОСПОД каза на Самуил: Ето, Аз ще извърша в Израил нещо, от което на всекиго, който го чуе, ще му писнат и двете уши.

And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.

В онзи ден Аз ще изпълня против Илий всичко, което говорих за дома му — ще започна и ще завърша.

In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end.

Защото му казах, че ще съдя дома му до века за беззаконието, което той знаеше — защото синовете му си навлякоха проклятие, а той не ги възпря.

For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.

И затова Аз се заклех на дома на Илий, че беззаконието на дома на Илий няма да се умилостиви нито с жертва, нито с принос до века!

And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever.

И Самуил лежа до сутринта, после отвори вратите на ГОСПОДНИЯ дом. Но Самуил се боеше да каже видението на Илий.

And Samuel lay until the morning, and opened the doors of the house of the LORD. And Samuel feared to shew Eli the vision.

Тогава Илий повика Самуил и каза: Самуиле, сине мой. А той каза: Ето ме.

Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here am I.

И той каза: Какво слово ти говори ГОСПОД? Моля те, не го крий от мен. Така да ти направи Бог и така да прибави, ако скриеш от мен нещо от всичките думи, които ти е говорил!

And he said, What is the thing that the LORD hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee.

Тогава Самуил му каза всичките думи и не скри нищо от него. И той каза: ГОСПОД е; нека направи, каквото Му се вижда добро.

And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good.

И Самуил растеше и ГОСПОД беше с него, и не оставяше нито една от всичките му думи да падне на земята.

And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.

И целият Израил от Дан до Вирсавее позна, че Самуил беше утвърден като пророк от ГОСПОДА.

And all Israel from Dan even to Beer–sheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.

И ГОСПОД отново се явяваше в Сило, понеже ГОСПОД се откриваше на Самуил в Сило чрез ГОСПОДНОТО слово.

And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.
