I Chronicles 17

И когато Давид се настани в къщата си, Давид каза на пророк Натан: Ето, аз живея в кедров дом, а ковчегът на ГОСПОДНИЯ завет стои под завеси на шатър.

Now it came to pass, as David sat in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, Lo, I dwell in an house of cedars, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD remaineth under curtains.

И Натан каза на Давид: Направи всичко, което е в сърцето ти, защото Бог е с теб.

Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in thine heart; for God is with thee.

Но през същата нощ Божието слово беше към Натан и каза:

And it came to pass the same night, that the word of God came to Nathan, saying,

Иди и кажи на слугата Ми Давид: Така говори ГОСПОД: Ти няма да Ми построиш дом, в който да обитавам,

Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not build me an house to dwell in:

защото от деня, когато изведох Израил от Египет, до днес Аз не съм обитавал в дом, а съм ходил от шатър в шатър и от скиния в скиния.

For I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another.

Където и да ходих с целия Израил, говорих ли някога дума на някой от израилевите съдии, на които заповядах да пасат народа Ми, като казах: Защо не Ми построихте кедров дом?

Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars?

И сега, така да кажеш на слугата Ми Давид: Така казва ГОСПОД на Войнствата: Аз те взех от кошарата, от след стадото, за да бъдеш княз над Моя народ Израил.

Now therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, even from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel:

И бях с теб навсякъде, където отиваше, и изтребих всичките ти врагове пред теб, и направих името ти като имената на великите, които са на земята.

And I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth.

И ще определя място за народа Си Израил и ще го насадя, за да живее на свое си място и да не бъде вече в безпокойство и синовете на неправдата да не го притесняват вече, както преди,

Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning,

и от деня, когато поставих съдии над народа Си Израил. И ще покоря всичките ти врагове. При това ти заявявам, че ГОСПОД ще ти съгради дом.

And since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. Moreover I will subdue all thine enemies. Furthermore I tell thee that the LORD will build thee an house.

Когато се изпълнят дните ти да отидеш при бащите си, Аз ще издигна потомъка ти след теб, който ще бъде от твоите синове, и ще утвърдя царството му.

And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom.

Той ще Ми построи дом и Аз ще утвърдя престола му до века.

He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever.

Аз ще му бъда Отец и той ще Ми бъде син; и няма да оттегля милостта Си от него, както я оттеглих от онзи, който беше преди теб.

I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee:

Ще го закрепя в Своя дом и в Своето царство до века; и престолът му ще бъде утвърден до века.

But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.

И Натан говори на Давид според всички тези думи и според цялото това видение.

According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.

Тогава цар Давид влезе и седна пред ГОСПОДА, и каза: Кой съм аз, ГОСПОДИ, Боже, и какъв е домът ми, че си ме довел дотук?

And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who am I, O LORD God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?

Но и това беше малко в очите Ти, Боже, и Ти си говорил и за дома на слугата Си за далечно бъдеще, и си погледнал на мен като на високопоставен човек, ГОСПОДИ, Боже!

And yet this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken of thy servant's house for a great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.

И какво повече да Ти говори Давид за честта, оказана на слугата Ти? Ти познаваш слугата Си.

What can David speak more to thee for the honour of thy servant? for thou knowest thy servant.

ГОСПОДИ, заради слугата Си и според Своето сърце Ти си извършил цялото това велико дело, за да изявиш всички тези велики дела.

O LORD, for thy servant's sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.

ГОСПОДИ, няма никой като Теб и няма бог освен Теб, според всичко, което сме чули с ушите си.

O LORD, there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

И кой друг народ на земята е като Твоя народ Израил, когото Бог отиде да откупи за народ за Себе Си, за да си създадеш име чрез велики и страшни дела, като изгони езичници пред Своя народ, който си откупил от Египет?

And what one nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people, whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt?

И Ти направи народа Си Израил Свой народ до века; и Ти, ГОСПОДИ, им стана Бог.

For thy people Israel didst thou make thine own people for ever; and thou, LORD, becamest their God.

И сега, ГОСПОДИ, нека се утвърди до века словото, което си говорил за слугата Си и за дома му, и направи, както си говорил.

Therefore now, LORD, let the thing that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do as thou hast said.

Нека се утвърди; и нека се възвеличи Името Ти до века, за да казват: ГОСПОД на Войнствата, Израилевият Бог, е Бог на Израил! И нека бъде утвърден пред Теб домът на слугата Ти Давид.

Let it even be established, that thy name may be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel: and let the house of David thy servant be established before thee.

Защото Ти, Боже мой, откри на слугата Си, че ще му съградиш дом; затова слугата Ти дръзна да се помоли пред Теб.

For thou, O my God, hast told thy servant that thou wilt build him an house: therefore thy servant hath found in his heart to pray before thee.

И сега, ГОСПОДИ, Ти си Бог, и си обещал това добро на слугата Си.

And now, LORD, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:

И сега Ти благоволи да благословиш дома на слугата Си, за да бъде пред Теб до века, защото Ти, ГОСПОДИ, си го благословил и ще бъде благословен до века.

Now therefore let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may be before thee for ever: for thou blessest, O LORD, and it shall be blessed for ever.
