Ezekiel 12

رب مجھ سے ہم کلام ہوا،

The word of the LORD also came unto me, saying,

”اے آدم زاد، تُو ایک سرکش قوم کے درمیان رہتا ہے۔ گو اُن کی آنکھیں ہیں توبھی کچھ نہیں دیکھتے، گو اُن کے کان ہیں توبھی کچھ نہیں سنتے۔ کیونکہ یہ قوم ہٹ دھرم ہے۔

Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.

اے آدم زاد، اب اپنا سامان یوں لپیٹ لے جس طرح تجھے جلاوطن کیا جا رہا ہو۔ پھر دن کے وقت اور اُن کے دیکھتے دیکھتے گھر سے روانہ ہو کر کسی اَور جگہ چلا جا۔ شاید اُنہیں سمجھ آئے کہ اُنہیں جلاوطن ہونا ہے، حالانکہ یہ قوم سرکش ہے۔

Therefore, thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and thou shalt remove from thy place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they be a rebellious house.

دن کے وقت اُن کے دیکھتے دیکھتے اپنا سامان گھر سے نکال لے، یوں جیسے تُو جلاوطنی کے لئے تیاریاں کر رہا ہو۔ پھر شام کے وقت اُن کی موجودگی میں جلاوطن کا سا کردار ادا کر کے روانہ ہو جا۔

Then shalt thou bring forth thy stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for removing: and thou shalt go forth at even in their sight, as they that go forth into captivity.

گھر سے نکلنے کے لئے دیوار میں سوراخ بنا، پھر اپنا سارا سامان اُس میں سے باہر لے جا۔ سب اِس کے گواہ ہوں۔

Dig thou through the wall in their sight, and carry out thereby.

اُن کے دیکھتے دیکھتے اندھیرے میں اپنا سامان کندھے پر رکھ کر وہاں سے نکل جا۔ لیکن اپنا منہ ڈھانپ لے تاکہ تُو ملک کو دیکھ نہ سکے۔ لازم ہے کہ تُو یہ سب کچھ کرے، کیونکہ مَیں نے مقرر کیا ہے کہ تُو اسرائیلی قوم کو آگاہ کرنے کا نشان بن جائے۔“

In their sight shalt thou bear it upon thy shoulders, and carry it forth in the twilight: thou shalt cover thy face, that thou see not the ground: for I have set thee for a sign unto the house of Israel.

مَیں نے ویسا ہی کیا جیسا رب نے مجھے حکم دیا تھا۔ مَیں نے اپنا سامان یوں لپیٹ لیا جیسے مجھے جلاوطن کیا جا رہا ہو۔ دن کے وقت مَیں اُسے گھر سے باہر لے گیا، شام کو مَیں نے اپنے ہاتھوں سے دیوار میں سوراخ بنا لیا۔ لوگوں کے دیکھتے دیکھتے مَیں سامان کو اپنے کندھے پر اُٹھا کر وہاں سے نکل آیا۔ اُتنے میں اندھیرا ہو گیا تھا۔

And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity, and in the even I digged through the wall with mine hand; I brought it forth in the twilight, and I bare it upon my shoulder in their sight.

صبح کے وقت رب کا کلام مجھ پر نازل ہوا،

And in the morning came the word of the LORD unto me, saying,

”اے آدم زاد، اِس ہٹ دھرم قوم اسرائیل نے تجھ سے پوچھا کہ تُو کیا کر رہا ہے؟

Son of man, hath not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto thee, What doest thou?

اُنہیں جواب دے، ’رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ اِس پیغام کا تعلق یروشلم کے رئیس اور شہر میں بسنے والے تمام اسرائیلیوں سے ہے۔‘

Say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; This burden concerneth the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are among them.

اُنہیں بتا، ’مَیں تمہیں آگاہ کرنے کا نشان ہوں۔ جو کچھ مَیں نے کیا وہ تمہارے ساتھ ہو جائے گا۔ تم قیدی بن کر جلاوطن ہو جاؤ گے۔

Say, I am your sign: like as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: they shall remove and go into captivity.

جو رئیس تمہارے درمیان ہے وہ اندھیرے میں اپنا سامان کندھے پر اُٹھا کر چلا جائے گا۔ دیوار میں سوراخ بنایا جائے گا تاکہ وہ نکل سکے۔ وہ اپنا منہ ڈھانپ لے گا تاکہ ملک کو نہ دیکھ سکے۔

And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground with his eyes.

لیکن مَیں اپنا جال اُس پر ڈال دوں گا، اور وہ میرے پھندے میں پھنس جائے گا۔ مَیں اُسے بابل لاؤں گا جو بابلیوں کے ملک میں ہے، اگرچہ وہ اُسے اپنی آنکھوں سے نہیں دیکھے گا۔ وہیں وہ وفات پائے گا۔

My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.

جتنے بھی ملازم اور دستے اُس کے ارد گرد ہوں گے اُن سب کو مَیں ہَوا میں اُڑا کر چاروں طرف منتشر کر دوں گا۔ اپنی تلوار کو میان سے کھینچ کر مَیں اُن کے پیچھے پڑا رہوں گا۔

And I will scatter toward every wind all that are about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them.

جب مَیں اُنہیں دیگر اقوام اور مختلف ممالک میں منتشر کروں گا تو وہ جان لیں گے کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں۔

And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries.

لیکن مَیں اُن میں سے چند ایک کو بچا کر تلوار، کال اور مہلک وبا کی زد میں نہیں آنے دوں گا۔ کیونکہ لازم ہے کہ جن اقوام میں بھی وہ جا بسیں وہاں وہ اپنی مکروہ حرکتیں سنائیں۔ تب یہ اقوام بھی جان لیں گی کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں‘۔“

But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen whither they come; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

رب مجھ سے ہم کلام ہوا،

Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

”اے آدم زاد، کھانا کھاتے وقت اپنی روٹی کو لرزتے ہوئے کھا اور اپنے پانی کو پریشانی کے مارے تھرتھراتے ہوئے پی۔

Son of man, eat thy bread with quaking, and drink thy water with trembling and with carefulness;

ساتھ ساتھ اُمّت کو بتا، ’رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ ملکِ اسرائیل کے شہر یروشلم کے باشندے پریشانی میں اپنا کھانا کھائیں گے اور دہشت زدہ حالت میں اپنا پانی پئیں گے، کیونکہ اُن کا ملک تباہ اور ہر برکت سے خالی ہو جائے گا۔ اور سبب اُس کے باشندوں کا ظلم و تشدد ہو گا۔

And say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord GOD of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and of the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desolate from all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.

جن شہروں میں لوگ اب تک آباد ہیں وہ برباد ہو جائیں گے، ملک ویران و سنسان ہو جائے گا۔ تب تم جان لو گے کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں‘۔“

And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

رب مجھ سے ہم کلام ہوا،

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

”اے آدم زاد، یہ کیسی کہاوت ہے جو ملکِ اسرائیل میں عام ہو گئی ہے؟ لوگ کہتے ہیں، ’جوں جوں دن گزرتے جاتے ہیں توں توں ہر رویا غلط ثابت ہوتی جاتی ہے۔‘

Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth?

جواب میں اُنہیں بتا، ’رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ مَیں اِس کہاوت کو ختم کروں گا، آئندہ یہ اسرائیل میں استعمال نہیں ہو گی۔‘ اُنہیں یہ بھی بتا، ’وہ وقت قریب ہی ہے جب ہر رویا پوری ہو جائے گی۔

Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.

کیونکہ آئندہ اسرائیلی قوم میں نہ فریب دہ رویا، نہ چاپلوسی کی پیش گوئیاں پائی جائیں گی۔

For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.

کیونکہ مَیں رب ہوں۔ جو کچھ مَیں فرماتا ہوں وہ وجود میں آتا ہے۔ اے سرکش قوم، دیر نہیں ہو گی بلکہ تمہارے ہی ایام میں مَیں بات بھی کروں گا اور اُسے پورا بھی کروں گا۔‘ یہ رب قادرِ مطلق کا فرمان ہے۔“

For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.

رب مزید مجھ سے ہم کلام ہوا،

Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

”اے آدم زاد، اسرائیلی قوم تیرے بارے میں کہتی ہے، ’جو رویا یہ آدمی دیکھتا ہے وہ بڑی دیر کے بعد ہی پوری ہو گی، اُس کی پیش گوئیاں دُور کے مستقبل کے بارے میں ہیں۔‘

Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off.

لیکن اُنہیں جواب دے، ’رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ جو کچھ بھی مَیں فرماتا ہوں اُس میں مزید دیر نہیں ہو گی بلکہ وہ جلد ہی پورا ہو گا۔‘ یہ رب قادرِ مطلق کا فرمان ہے۔“

Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.
