Psalms 95

Gelin, RAB’be sevinçle haykıralım, Bizi kurtaran kayaya sevinç çığlıkları atalım,

O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Şükranla huzuruna çıkalım, O’na sevinç ilahileri yükseltelim!

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

Çünkü RAB ulu Tanrı’dır, Bütün ilahların üstünde ulu kraldır.

For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

Yerin derinlikleri O’nun elindedir, Dağların dorukları da O’nun.

In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

Deniz O’nundur, çünkü O yarattı, Karaya da O’nun elleri biçim verdi.

The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

Gelin, tapınalım, eğilelim, Bizi yaratan RAB’bin önünde diz çökelim.

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

[] Çünkü O Tanrımız’dır, Bizse O’nun otlağının halkı, Elinin altındaki koyunlarız. Bugün sesini duyarsanız,

For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

[] Meriva’da, o gün çölde, Massa’da olduğu gibi, Yüreklerinizi nasırlaştırmayın.

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Yaptıklarımı görmelerine karşın, Atalarınız orada beni sınayıp denediler.

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

Kırk yıl o kuşaktan hep iğrendim, “Yüreği kötü yola sapan bir halktır” dedim, “Yollarımı bilmiyorlar.”

Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

[] [] Bu yüzden öfkeyle ant içtim: “Huzur diyarıma asla girmeyecekler!”

Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
