Psalms 124

Pieśń stopni Dawidowa. Gdyby był Pan z nami nie był , ( powiedz teraz Izraelu!)

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;

Gdyby był Pan z nami nie był, gdy ludzie powstawali przeciwko nam:

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:

Tedyćby nas byli żywo pożarli w rozpaleniu gniewu swego przeciwko nam;

Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:

Tedyćby nas były wody zabrały a strumień porwałby był duszę naszę;

Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:

Tedyćby były porwały duszę naszę one wody gwałtowne.

Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.

Błogosławiony Pan, który nas nie podał na łup zębom ich.

Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.

Dusza nasza jako ptaszek uszła z sidła ptaszników; sidło się potargało, a myśmy uszli.

Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.

Wspomożenie nasze w imieniu Pańskiem, który stworzył niebo i ziemię.

Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
