Psalms 82

Salamo nataon'i Asafa. Andriamanitra dia eo amin'ny fiangonan'Andriamanitra; ary eo amin'ireo andriamanitra no itsarany.

God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

Mandra-pahoviana no hitsarànareo tsy marina ka ihenaranareo maso ny ratsy fanahy?

How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

Alaharo ny tenin'ny mahantra sy ny kamboty; omeo rariny ny ory sy ny malahelo;

Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

Vonjeo ny mahantra sy ny malahelo; afaho amin'ny tanan'ny ratsy fanahy izy.

Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

Tsy mahalala na mahazo an-tsaina ireny; ao amin'ny maizina no andehanany; mihorohoro ny fanambanin'ny tany rehetra.

They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

Hoy izaho: Andriamanitra ianareo, ary zanaky ny Avo Indrindra ianareo rehetra;

I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

Kanjo ho faty tahaka ny olona ihany ianareo, ary samy ho lavo tahaka ny anankiray amin'ny lehibe.

But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

Mitsangàna, Andriamanitra ô, tsarao ny tany; fa Hianao no handova ny firenena rehetra.

Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
