Psalms 124

Fihirana fiakarana. Nataon'i Davida. Raha tsy Jehovah no nomba antsika, Eny, aoka hataon'ny Isiraely hoe:

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;

Raha tsy Jehovah no nomba antsika, Raha nitsangana hamely antsika ny olona.

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:

Dia nitelina antsika velona izy, Raha nirehitra tamintsika ny fahatezerany;

Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:

Dia nandifotra antsika ny rano, Ary nanafotra ny fanahintsika ny riaka;

Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:

Eny, nanafotra ny fanahintsika Ny rano misafoaka.

Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.

Isaorana anie Jehovah, Izay tsy nanolotra antsika ho rembin'ny nifiny.

Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.

Ny fanahintsika dia efa afaka tahaka ny vorona afaka tamin'ny fandriky ny mpihaza: Tapaka ny fandrika, ka afaka isika.

Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.

Ny famonjena antsika dia amin'ny anaran'i Jehovah, Mpanao ny lanitra sy ny tany.

Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
