Psalms 122

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

داؤد کا زیارت کا گیت۔ مَیں اُن سے خوش ہوا جنہوں نے مجھ سے کہا، ”آؤ، ہم رب کے گھر چلیں۔“

Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

اے یروشلم، اب ہمارے پاؤں تیرے دروازوں میں کھڑے ہیں۔

Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

یروشلم شہر یوں بنایا گیا ہے کہ اُس کے تمام حصے مضبوطی سے ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ جُڑے ہوئے ہیں۔

Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.

وہاں قبیلے، ہاں رب کے قبیلے حاضر ہوتے ہیں تاکہ رب کے نام کی ستائش کریں جس طرح اسرائیل کو فرمایا گیا ہے۔

For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

کیونکہ وہاں تخت عدالت کرنے کے لئے لگائے گئے ہیں، وہاں داؤد کے گھرانے کے تخت ہیں۔

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

یروشلم کے لئے سلامتی مانگو! ”جو تجھ سے پیار کرتے ہیں وہ سکون پائیں۔

Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

تیری فصیل میں سلامتی اور تیرے محلوں میں سکون ہو۔“

For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

اپنے بھائیوں اور ہم سایوں کی خاطر مَیں کہوں گا، ”تیرے اندر سلامتی ہو!“

Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.

رب ہمارے خدا کے گھر کی خاطر مَیں تیری خوش حالی کا طالب رہوں گا۔
