Ezekiel 7

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

رب مجھ سے ہم کلام ہوا،

Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.

”اے آدم زاد، رب قادرِ مطلق ملکِ اسرائیل سے فرماتا ہے کہ تیرا انجام قریب ہی ہے! جہاں بھی دیکھو، پورا ملک تباہ ہو جائے گا۔

Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.

اب تیرا ستیاناس ہونے والا ہے، مَیں خود اپنا غضب تجھ پر نازل کروں گا۔ مَیں تیرے چال چلن کو پرکھ پرکھ کر تیری عدالت کروں گا، تیری مکروہ حرکتوں کا پورا اجر دوں گا۔

And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

نہ مَیں تجھ پر ترس کھاؤں گا، نہ رحم کروں گا بلکہ تجھے تیرے چال چلن کا مناسب اجر دوں گا۔ کیونکہ تیری مکروہ حرکتوں کا بیج تیرے درمیان ہی اُگ کر پھل لائے گا۔ تب تم جان لو گے کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں۔“

Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.

رب قادرِ مطلق فرماتا ہے، ”آفت پر آفت ہی آ رہی ہے۔

An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.

تیرا انجام، ہاں، تیرا انجام آ رہا ہے۔ اب وہ اُٹھ کر تجھ پر لپک رہا ہے۔

The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.

اے ملک کے باشندے، تیری فنا پہنچ رہی ہے۔ اب وہ وقت قریب ہی ہے، وہ دن جب تیرے پہاڑوں پر خوشی کے نعروں کے بجائے افرا تفری کا شور مچے گا۔

Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.

اب مَیں جلد ہی اپنا غضب تجھ پر نازل کروں گا، جلد ہی اپنا غصہ تجھ پر اُتاروں گا۔ مَیں تیرے چال چلن کو پرکھ پرکھ کر تیری عدالت کروں گا، تیری گھنونی حرکتوں کا پورا اجر دوں گا۔

And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.

نہ مَیں تجھ پر ترس کھاؤں گا، نہ رحم کروں گا بلکہ تجھے تیرے چال چلن کا مناسب اجر دوں گا۔ کیونکہ تیری مکروہ حرکتوں کا بیج تیرے درمیان ہی اُگ کر پھل لائے گا۔ تب تم جان لو گے کہ مَیں یعنی رب ہی ضرب لگا رہا ہوں۔

Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.

دیکھو، مذکورہ دن قریب ہی ہے! تیری ہلاکت پہنچ رہی ہے۔ ناانصافی کے پھول اور شوخی کی کونپلیں پھوٹ نکلی ہیں۔

Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them.

لوگوں کا ظلم بڑھ بڑھ کر لاٹھی بن گیا ہے جو اُنہیں اُن کی بےدینی کی سزا دے گی۔ کچھ نہیں رہے گا، نہ وہ خود، نہ اُن کی دولت، نہ اُن کا شور شرابہ، اور نہ اُن کی شان و شوکت۔

The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

عدالت کا دن قریب ہی ہے۔ اُس وقت جو کچھ خریدے وہ خوش نہ ہو، اور جو کچھ فروخت کرے وہ غم نہ کھائے۔ کیونکہ اب اِن چیزوں کا کوئی فائدہ نہیں، الٰہی غضب سب پر نازل ہو رہا ہے۔

For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.

بیچنے والے بچ بھی جائیں تو وہ اپنا کاروبار نہیں کر سکیں گے۔ کیونکہ سب پر الٰہی غضب کا فیصلہ اٹل ہے اور منسوخ نہیں ہو سکتا۔ لوگوں کے گناہوں کے باعث ایک جان بھی نہیں چھوٹے گی۔

They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

بےشک لوگ بِگل بجا کر جنگ کی تیاریاں کریں، لیکن کیا فائدہ؟ لڑنے کے لئے کوئی نہیں نکلے گا، کیونکہ سب کے سب میرے قہر کا نشانہ بن جائیں گے۔

The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.

باہر تلوار، اندر مہلک وبا اور بھوک۔ کیونکہ دیہات میں لوگ تلوار کی زد میں آ جائیں گے، شہر میں کال اور مہلک وبا سے ہلاک ہو جائیں گے۔

But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.

جتنے بھی بچیں گے وہ پہاڑوں میں پناہ لیں گے، گھاٹیوں میں فاختاؤں کی طرح غوں غوں کر کے اپنے گناہوں پر آہ و زاری کریں گے۔

All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.

ہر ہاتھ سے طاقت جاتی رہے گی، ہر گھٹنا ڈانواں ڈول ہو جائے گا۔

They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.

وہ ٹاٹ کے ماتمی کپڑے اوڑھ لیں گے، اُن پر کپکپی طاری ہو جائے گی۔ ہر چہرے پر شرمندگی نظر آئے گی، ہر سر منڈوایا گیا ہو گا۔

They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

اپنی چاندی کو وہ گلیوں میں پھینک دیں گے، اپنے سونے کو غلاظت سمجھیں گے۔ کیونکہ جب رب کا غضب اُن پر نازل ہو گا تو نہ اُن کی چاندی اُنہیں بچا سکے گی، نہ سونا۔ اُن سے نہ وہ اپنی بھوک مٹا سکیں گے، نہ اپنے پیٹ کو بھر سکیں گے، کیونکہ یہی چیزیں اُن کے لئے گناہ کا باعث بن گئی تھیں۔

As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.

اُنہوں نے اپنے خوب صورت زیورات پر فخر کر کے اُن سے اپنے گھنونے بُت اور مکروہ مجسمے بنائے، اِس لئے مَیں ہونے دوں گا کہ وہ اپنی دولت سے گھن کھائیں گے۔

And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.

مَیں یہ سب کچھ پردیسیوں کے حوالے کر دوں گا، اور وہ اُسے لُوٹ لیں گے۔ دنیا کے بےدین اُسے چھین کر اُس کی بےحرمتی کریں گے۔

My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.

مَیں اپنا منہ اسرائیلیوں سے پھیر لوں گا تو اجنبی میرے قیمتی مقام کی بےحرمتی کریں گے۔ ڈاکو اُس میں گھس کر اُسے ناپاک کریں گے۔

Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.

زنجیریں تیار کر! کیونکہ ملک میں قتل و غارت عام ہو گئی ہے، شہر ظلم و تشدد سے بھر گیا ہے۔

Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.

مَیں دیگر اقوام کے سب سے شریر لوگوں کو بُلاؤں گا تاکہ اسرائیلیوں کے گھروں پر قبضہ کریں، مَیں زورآوروں کا تکبر خاک میں ملا دوں گا۔ جو بھی مقام اُنہیں مُقدّس ہو اُس کی بےحرمتی کی جائے گی۔

Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.

جب دہشت اُن پر طاری ہو گی تو وہ امن و امان تلاش کریں گے، لیکن بےفائدہ۔ امن و امان کہیں بھی پایا نہیں جائے گا۔

Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.

آفت پر آفت ہی اُن پر آئے گی، یکے بعد دیگرے بُری خبریں اُن تک پہنچیں گی۔ وہ نبی سے رویا ملنے کی اُمید کریں گے، لیکن بےفائدہ۔ نہ امام اُنہیں شریعت کی تعلیم، نہ بزرگ اُنہیں مشورہ دے سکیں گے۔

The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

بادشاہ ماتم کرے گا، رئیس ہیبت زدہ ہو گا، اور عوام کے ہاتھ تھرتھرائیں گے۔ مَیں اُن کے چال چلن کے مطابق اُن سے نپٹوں گا، اُن کے اپنے ہی اصولوں کے مطابق اُن کی عدالت کروں گا۔ تب وہ جان لیں گے کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں۔“
