Ezekiel 6

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

رب مجھ سے ہم کلام ہوا،

Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,

”اے آدم زاد، اسرائیل کے پہاڑوں کی طرف رُخ کر کے اُن کے خلاف نبوّت کر۔

And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.

اُن سے کہہ، ’اے اسرائیل کے پہاڑو، رب قادرِ مطلق کا کلام سنو! وہ پہاڑوں، پہاڑیوں، گھاٹیوں اور وادیوں کے بارے میں فرماتا ہے کہ مَیں تمہارے خلاف تلوار چلا کر تمہاری اونچی جگہوں کے مندروں کو تباہ کر دوں گا۔

And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.

جن قربان گاہوں پر تم اپنے جانور اور بخور جلاتے ہو وہ ڈھا دوں گا۔ مَیں تیرے مقتولوں کو تیرے بُتوں کے سامنے ہی پھینک چھوڑوں گا۔

And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.

مَیں اسرائیلیوں کی لاشوں کو اُن کے بُتوں کے سامنے ڈال کر تمہاری ہڈیوں کو تمہاری قربان گاہوں کے ارد گرد بکھیر دوں گا۔

In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.

جہاں بھی تم آباد ہو وہاں تمہارے شہر کھنڈرات بن جائیں گے اور اونچی جگہوں کے مندر مسمار ہو جائیں گے۔ کیونکہ لازم ہے کہ جن قربان گاہوں پر تم اپنے جانور اور بخور جلاتے ہو وہ خاک میں ملائی جائیں، کہ تمہارے بُتوں کو پاش پاش کیا جائے، کہ تمہاری بُت پرستی کی چیزیں نیست و نابود ہو جائیں۔

And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

مقتول تمہارے درمیان گر کر پڑے رہیں گے۔ تب تم جان لو گے کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں۔

Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.

لیکن مَیں چند ایک کو زندہ چھوڑوں گا۔ کیونکہ جب تمہیں دیگر ممالک اور اقوام میں منتشر کیا جائے گا تو کچھ تلوار سے بچے رہیں گے۔

And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.

جب یہ لوگ قیدی بن کر مختلف ممالک میں لائے جائیں گے تو اُنہیں میرا خیال آئے گا۔ اُنہیں یاد آئے گا کہ مجھے کتنا غم کھانا پڑا جب اُن کے زناکار دل مجھ سے دُور ہوئے اور اُن کی آنکھیں اپنے بُتوں سے زنا کرتی رہیں۔ تب وہ یہ سوچ کر کہ ہم نے کتنا بُرا کام کیا اور کتنی مکروہ حرکتیں کی ہیں اپنے آپ سے گھن کھائیں گے۔

And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.

اُس وقت وہ جان لیں گے کہ مَیں رب ہوں، کہ اُن پر یہ آفت لانے کا اعلان کرتے وقت مَیں خالی باتیں نہیں کر رہا تھا‘۔“

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.

پھر رب قادرِ مطلق نے مجھ سے فرمایا، ”تالیاں بجا کر پاؤں زور سے زمین پر مار! ساتھ ساتھ یہ کہہ، ’اسرائیلی قوم کی گھنونی حرکتوں پر افسوس! وہ تلوار، کال اور مہلک بیماریوں کی زد میں آ کر ہلاک ہو جائیں گے۔

He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.

جو دُور ہے وہ مہلک وبا سے مر جائے گا، جو قریب ہے وہ تلوار سے قتل ہو جائے گا، اور جو بچ جائے وہ بھوکوں مرے گا۔ یوں مَیں اپنا غضب اُن پر نازل کروں گا۔

Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.

وہ جان لیں گے کہ مَیں رب ہوں جب اُن کے مقتول اُن کے بُتوں کے درمیان، اُن کی قربان گاہوں کے ارد گرد، ہر پہاڑ اور پہاڑ کی چوٹی پر اور ہر ہرے درخت اور بلوط کے گھنے درخت کے سائے میں نظر آئیں گے۔ جہاں بھی وہ اپنے بُتوں کو خوش کرنے کے لئے کوشاں رہے وہاں اُن کی لاشیں پائی جائیں گی۔

So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

مَیں اپنا ہاتھ اُن کے خلاف اُٹھا کر ملک کو یہوداہ کے ریگستان سے لے کر دِبلہ تک تباہ کر دوں گا۔ اُن کی تمام آبادیاں ویران و سنسان ہو جائیں گی۔ تب وہ جان لیں گے کہ مَیں ہی رب ہوں۔“
