LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.

Psalm Dawidowy, gdy uciekał przed Absalomem, synem swoim.

Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.

Panie, jako się namnożyło nieprzyjaciół moich! wiele ich powstaje przeciwko mnie.

But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

Wiele ich mówią o duszy mojej: Niemać ten ratunku od Boga. Sela.

I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.

Ale ty, Panie! jesteś tarczą moją, chwałą moją, i wywyższającym głowę moję.

I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.

Głosem swym wołałem do Pana, a wysłuchał mię z góry świętej swojej. Sela.

I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

Jam się układł, i zasnąłem, a ocuciłem się; bo mię Pan podpierał.

Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

Nie ulęknę się wielu tysięcy ludu, którzy się na mię zewsząd zasadzili.

Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

Powstań, Panie! wybaw mię, Boże mój! albowiemeś ty uderzył w lice wszystkich nieprzyjaciół moich, z zęby niezbożników pokruszyłeś. Od Panać jest wybawienie, a nad ludem twoim błogosławieństwo twoje. Sela.
