Psalms 64

Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

हे परमेश्वर, मेरी सुन! मैं अपने शत्रुओं से भयभीत हूँ। मैं अपने जीवन के लिए डरा हुआ हूँ।

Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:

तू मुझको मेरे शत्रुओं के गहरे षड़यन्त्रों से बचा ले। मुझको तू उन दुष्ट लोगों से छिपा ले।

Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:

मेरे विषय में उन्होंने बहुत बुरा झूठ बोला है। उनकी जीभे तेज तलवार सी और उनके कटुशब्द बाणों से हैं।

That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

वे छिप जाते हैं, और अपने बाणों का प्रहार सरल सच्चे जन पर फिर करते हैं। इसके पहले कि उसको पता चले, वह घायल हो जाता है।

They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?

उसको हराने को बुरे काम करते हैं। वे झूठ बोलते और अपने जाल फैलाते हैं। और वे सुनिश्चित हैं कि उन्हें कोई नहीं पकड़ेगा।

They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

लोग बहुत कुटिल हो सकते हैं। वे लोग क्या सोच रहे हैं इसका समझ पाना कठिन है।

But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.

किन्तु परमेश्वर निज “बाण” मार सकता है! और इसके पहले कि उनको पता चले, वे दुष्ट लोग घायल हो जाते हैं।

So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

दुष्ट जन दूसरों के साथ बुरा करने की योजना बनाते हैं। किन्तु परमेश्वर उनके कुचक्रों को चौपट कर सकता है। वह उन बुरी बातों कों स्वयं उनके ऊपर घटा देता है। फिर हर कोई जो उन्हें देखता अचरज से भरकर अपना सिर हिलाता है।

And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.

जो परमेश्वर ने किया है, लोग उन बातों को देखेंगे और वे उन बातों का वर्णन दूसरो से करेंगे, फिर तो हर कोई परमेश्वर के विषय में और अधिक जानेगा। वे उसका आदर करना और डरना सीखेंगे।

The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

सज्जनों को चाहिए कि वे यहोवा में प्रसन्न हो। वे उस पर भरोसा रखे। अरे! ओ सज्जनों! तुम सभी यहोवा के गुण गाओ।
