I Samuel 3

And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.

La knabo Samuel servadis al la Eternulo antaŭ Eli; kaj la vorto de la Eternulo estis grandpreza en tiu tempo; ne aperadis ofte profetaj vizioj.

And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see;

En tiu tempo unu fojon Eli kuŝis sur sia loko (lia vidado komencis malakriĝi, ke li ne povis vidi);

And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep;

kaj la lucerno de Dio ankoraŭ ne estingiĝis, kaj Samuel kuŝis en la templo de la Eternulo, kie estis la kesto de Dio;

That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.

tiam la Eternulo vokis Samuelon, kaj ĉi tiu diris: Jen mi estas.

And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down.

Kaj li kuris al Eli, kaj diris: Jen mi estas, kiel vi vokis min. Sed tiu diris: Mi ne vokis; iru returne kaj kuŝiĝu. Kaj li iris kaj kuŝiĝis.

And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.

Kaj la Eternulo denove vokis Samuelon, kaj Samuel leviĝis kaj iris al Eli, kaj diris: Jen mi estas, kiel vi vokis min. Sed tiu diris: Mi ne vokis, mia filo; iru returne kaj kuŝiĝu.

Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.

Samuel ankoraŭ ne konis la Eternulon, kaj ankoraŭ ne estis revelaciita al li la vorto de la Eternulo.

And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.

Kaj la Eternulo denove vokis Samuelon la trian fojon; kaj li leviĝis kaj iris al Eli, kaj diris: Jen mi estas, kiel vi vokis min. Tiam Eli komprenis, ke la Eternulo vokas la knabon.

Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

Kaj Eli diris al Samuel: Iru, kuŝiĝu; kaj se vi estos vokata, tiam diru: Parolu, ho Eternulo, ĉar Via sklavo aŭskultas. Kaj Samuel iris kaj kuŝiĝis sur sia loko.

And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

Kaj venis la Eternulo kaj stariĝis, kaj vokis kiel la antaŭajn fojojn: Samuel, Samuel! Kaj Samuel diris: Parolu, ĉar Via sklavo aŭskultas.

And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.

Tiam la Eternulo diris al Samuel: Jen Mi faros en Izrael tian faron, ke al ĉiu, kiu tion aŭdos, eksonoros ambaŭ liaj oreloj.

In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end.

En tiu tago Mi plenumos super Eli ĉion, kion Mi diris pri lia domo; Mi komencos kaj finos.

For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.

Mi sciigis al li, ke Mi juĝos lian domon por ĉiam pro la krimo, ke li sciis, ke liaj filoj venigas malbenon sur sin, kaj li ne detenis ilin.

And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever.

Kaj tial Mi ĵuris al la domo de Eli, ke neniam pekliberiĝos la krimo de la domo de Eli per buĉofero nek per farunofero.

And Samuel lay until the morning, and opened the doors of the house of the LORD. And Samuel feared to shew Eli the vision.

Kaj Samuel kuŝis ĝis la mateno; poste li malfermis la pordojn de la domo de la Eternulo. Sed Samuel timis raporti pri la vizio al Eli.

Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here am I.

Kaj Eli vokis Samuelon, kaj diris: Samuel, mia filo! Kaj ĉi tiu diris: Jen mi estas.

And he said, What is the thing that the LORD hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee.

Kaj tiu diris: Kia estas la afero, pri kiu Li parolis al vi? mi petas, ne kaŝu antaŭ mi; tion kaj ankoraŭ pli faru al vi Dio, se vi kaŝos antaŭ mi ion el ĉio, kion Li diris al vi.

And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good.

Kaj Samuel rakontis al li ĉion, kaj nenion kaŝis antaŭ li. Kaj li diris: Li estas la Eternulo; Li faru tion, kio plaĉas al Li.

And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.

Kaj Samuel kreskis, kaj la Eternulo estis kun li; kaj neniun el Liaj vortoj li faligis sur la teron.

And all Israel from Dan even to Beer–sheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.

Kaj eksciis la tuta Izrael, de Dan ĝis Beer-Ŝeba, ke Samuel fariĝis fidinda profeto de la Eternulo.

And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.

Kaj la Eternulo plue aperadis en Ŝilo, post kiam la Eternulo revelaciis Sin al Samuel en Ŝilo per la parolo de la Eternulo.
